Tender For Provision Of Epu Flooring At Certain Restricted Area ( Pts ) At Sarsawa Under Ge ( Af ) Sarsawa ; 1 M&L Preparation Of Existing Concerete Surface For Applying 3Mm Thick Epoxy Poly-Urethane ( Epu ) Flooring Including Grinding, Scarifying, Cleaning Of Surface From Dust, Dirt, Moisture & Oil Foreign Material From The Floor, All Floors To Be Cleared By Means Of Scrubber, Acid Itching Shall Be Done To The Floor Followed By Alkaline Wash & Then The Surface Shall Be Cleaned By Potable Water Wash. After That The Floor Shall Be Cleaned By Using Solvent / Degrease / Cleaner To Remove Residues, For Floor Cleaning All Mechanised Equipment Shall Be Used Like Scrubber, Sanders, Hot Blowers, Vaccum Cleaners, Moisture Test Maching Complete Including Laying Of 3Mm Thick Epu Flooring As Described Here-In-Below Complete All As Specified & Directed:- ( A ) Applying Solvent Free Epoxy Resin Based Primer. The Primer Shall Be Applied Yielding A Dft Of 200 Micron. ( B ) Applying Epoxy Based High Strength Self-Smoothing, Self Leveling Screed. The Screed Shall Have A Minium Thickness Of 2000 Microns. The Compressive Strength Of Screed Will Be The Range Of 40-50 Mpa, Tensile Strength Will Be 7-10 Mpa And Flexural In The Range Of 30-40 Mpa. Water Absorpation Nil. ( C ) Applying Epu Based Self Leveling Two Coat. It Should Yield A Thickness Of 1000 Microns. The Compressive Strength Of Top Coat Will Be The Range Of 40-50 Mpa, Tensile Strength Will Be 7-10 Mpa And Flexural In The Range Of 15-25 Mpa. 2 Notes For Boq Item No. 1.00:- ( I ) The Make Of Epu Flooring As Projected By Contractorshall Be Approved By Ge. The Epu Flooring Shall Be Executed By One Of The Approved ManufacturerS Authorized Applicator Only. The Authorized Applicator Shall Have Minimum Three Years Documented Experiance In The Execution Of Epu Flooring To Existing Concrete Floors. The Contractor Shall Submit Necessary Documents In This Regard And The Same Shall Be Approved By Ge. ( Ii ) All Material Used In This System Shall Be Of Single Manufacturer To Ensure Compatibility And Proper Bonding. ( Iii ) All Material Are To Be Delivered To The Job Site In The ManufacturerS Original Packaging And Shall Be Executed Thorugh Authorised Applicator Only. ( Iv ) Contractor Shall Give Performance Gaurantee Of 5 Years From The Date Competion Of Contract In Writing. The Contractor Shall Obtain Same Performance Gaurantee From Manufacturer / Applicator. ( V ) Security Deposit @ 2% Of Contract Amount Against Gaurantee Shall Be Retained From Final Bill Till 05 Years. The Contractor May Also Submit Fdr Against Security Deposit In Favor Of Ge. 3 Notes For Boq Item No. 1.00 ( Contd.... / - ) :- ( Vi ) Contractor Shall Submit The Technical Data Sheet / Literature Of Epu Flooring Material And Methodology Of Execution Confirming To Relevant Is / ManufacturerS Instrucitons For The Approval Of Accepting Officer Through Ge Before The Execution Of The Work. ( Vii ) Epu Flooring Shall Be Provided From Expansion Joints, Dummy Joints & Construction Joints To Be Covered With The Provisioned Flooring System. ( Viii ) The Cost Of Provisioned Flooring System Over Joints Shall Be Deemed To Included In Quoted Rates Of Epu Flooring And Area Of Expansion Joints, Dummy Joints & Construction Joints Shall Be Deducted From Measurement Of Epu Flooring.
