| 3 | M&L for preparation of newly plastered / Existing surface of external wall all as prescribed by manufacturer of paint and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint (walmista of Berger paint or equivalent in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint complete all as specified and as directed.Note:- (i). The newly plastered surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacturer instruction before application of emulsion paint. The cost of all materials, T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted.(ii). The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer after concluding an MoU with manufacturer for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE before commencement of work.(iii). All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by department for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacturer.(iv). After carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE before application of distemper for each building.(v). The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE. (vi) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the Rate Quted by the Contractor. |

(iii) M& L for40mm thick (Min) PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate mixed with and including integral water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions on bottom of sunken portion with proper slope towards spout. Vertical sides shall be plastered in CM (1:3) 15 mm thick mixed with and including water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions. Plaster shall be extended over PCC coving when the same is green i.e. PCC& plaster be carried out at the same time completeall as specified and directed.(iv) After laying sewage/ plumbing pipes with fixtures in position2 coats of OMIPLAS EP-101 epoxy compound shall be applied completeall as specified and directed.(v) S&F Spouts of25mm dia GI pipe light grade projecting 450mm clear of face outer a wall with mosquito proof cap on inner face of pipe shall be provided to drain out seepage water ,including cutting holes and making good if needed as specified and directed.(vi) Testing of water tightness by pounding for 72 hours & rectify defects if any till total elimination of defects completeall as specified and directed.The sunken portion shall be tested for leakage / seepage / dampness by pounding with water for 72 hours. In case any defect is noticed the portion shall be grouted with cement slurry mixed with suitable chemical & tested again. The process of grouting and testing shall be repeated till leakage / seepage / dampness is eliminated. |
