108M & L cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out and filling solidly with a hot mixture of bitumen and clean dry sand 1:1 (by weight)complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
109Material & Labour for providing and laying 3mm thick APP (atactic polypropylene polymer) modified prefabricated five layer weight not less than 3.60 kg /Sqm water proofing membrane black finish reinforced with non woven polyster matt and consisting of a coat bitumious primer @ 0.40 ltr /Sqm by the same membrane manufactures of density 0.87 to 0.89 kg/ltr at 25 degree centegrate temprature andviscosity 70-160 cps over the primer coat with overlap of 100mm at theside and 150mm at the end, the layer membrane shall be laid using butane gas torch and sealing all joints etc after preparing the surface complete as per standred practice as per manufacture"s instructions . The vital physical and chemical parameters of themembrane shell be under ;- (i) Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23 degree centegrateat 650/ 450 N /5 cms (ii) Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 300/250N/5 cms. Softing point of membrane not less then 150 degree centegrate when tested in accordance with ASTM (d-5147) (iii) The laying of membrane shall be got down through the authorised applicator of manufactures of membrane onlycomplete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
110M & Lcement concrete tiles 30 cm x 30cm x 20 mm thick, machine pressed laid on screed bed and joints groutedflush in CM (1:3) mixed with 5% crude oil by weight of cement including screed bed 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
111M & L applying a coat of solar reflective aluminium paint @ 0.11 kg per sqm on APP membrane surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
112Attending and rectify day to day complaints related to repairs to carpenter work in repairs to joinery (wooden /steel /aluminium) including iron /aluminium mongery, pelmet box, curtain rod, door springs, hydraulic door closer, rolling shutters, etc requiring carpentry work and carrying out minor repairs such as tightening of screws/nails, wires of false ceiling, easening /resecuring of joinery, door spring etc including fixing glass panes & wirecloth to joinery and all other carpentry works & petty repairs materials like screws/nails, plugs, grease, etc to make it functional complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) All T&P and petty materials like screws & nails of different sizes, wooden beading and any other materials required etcas mentioned in this item to make it functional shall be arranged by the contractor and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. (ii) Any other items except mentioned in this item, if required, the same shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items.
113Attending and rectify day to day complaints related to water supply & plumbing work such as leakage of bib cock, pillar cock, stop cock, stop cock (concealed), angle valve, gate valve, wall mixer, shower roses, health faucet /Jet sprays etc, including removal of air lock/blockage of water in GI tubing of any description, changing the washers, clearing of air lock in the pipe, leaking low level or high level flushing cistern by adjusting the float valve including removal and replacement of rubber washer in PVC siphons, adjusting the float valve of over head tanks, leaking PVC bends/galvanised iron pipesincluding M-seal, screws, nails, check nuts etc required for rectifing the complaints complete all as specified and directed. Note : All T&P such as die set, washers of all size, teflon tape, M–seal, screws, nails, check nuts, spindle, capandthe like incl necessary form work and scaffolding upto 3rd floor and safety measures to make functional and leak proof shall be arranged by the contractor and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. (ii) Any other items except mentioned in this item, if required, the same shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items.
114Attending and rectify day to day complaints of broken PCC floor, plinth, plaster, painting, etc requiring masonry work /items and carrying out minor repairs such as edges, patches not exc 3 sqm each etc, including petty repairs material like sand, cement & aggregate to make it functional /useable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer–in–Charge. (Note : Any other items except mentioned in this item or major repair, if required, the same shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items)
115Cleaning of sewage line upto first man holes by any means and removing blockage of WC, EWC, Bathroom, floor trap of WHB/Kitchen pipe etccomplete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
116Note for Item No. 112 to 115:- (i) Contractor or his authorised rep will report daily at 0900 hrs and onwards at complaint cell for collection of complaints from the concerned JE"s In chargeand distribute all complaints/ detailing to his tradesmen, monitoring the work done and taking the complaint slip back from trademans on every working day, re-submit the same to JE"s in charge after rectifying the complaint at complaint cell, failing which a recovery of Rs 1000/- per day shall immediately be effected from the contractor"s dues in terms of conditions 25, 44 & 45 of IAFW-2249 (General Conditions of contracts). (ii) The complaint shall be attended & defect shall be rectified within 08 hrs i.e from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs (excluding sunday & gazetted holiday), commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint slip failing which a penalty @ Rs.120/- per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be levied upon/imposed on the contractor and necessary recovery shall be effected from his dues on this account. In case, after checking & attending the defects, if it is not possible to rectify the defect within 08 hrs, the fact shall be brought to the notice of Engr-in-Charge by the contractor/ his rep immediately and if Engineer-in-Charge is satisfied with the facts brought by the contractor, no recovery shall be made on this account. (iii) All T&P required for attending the complaints shall be provided by the contractor without any extra. (iv) The plumber shall always be in possession of die set complete with cutters, Pipe wrench, Chain wrench, Caulking tools, complete set of spanners and ladders etc. as required at site or will be arrange by contractor on site on own expenditure and deemed to be included uin quoted rates. (viii) The carpente shall always be in possession of all carpneter tools like hacksaw, screw driver, plainer, pliers, hammer, spanner, chisel, jack plane, tin cutter etc. as required at site or will be arrange by contractor on site on own expenditure and deemed to be included uin quoted rates. (v)The above all aspect shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the respective item.
117Note:-Amount of credit ofRs. 91,465.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit Page No. 39 & 40 of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
