196 | (b) Contractor will maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly , monthly, quarterly, half yearly, yearly or whatsoever maintenance is carried out during contract period in a binded book/register and will obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge |
197 | (c) The operator/helper will ensure general cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis. |
198 | (d) The routine maintenance/checks shall be strictly carried out by the operator all as per the list of routine maintenance activities with periodicity as per appendix "A" to PS hereinafter attached. |
199 | (e) The unit rate quoted shall deemed include for maintenance for earthpits, cutting & removing of vegitation and upkeep of the surrounding area, all around the bldg upto 6m from the plinth protection all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per month will be levied and recovered from dues. (f) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator & helper and design of uniform shall be got approved.In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per uniform will be levied and recovered from dues. (g) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived from pro rata rate ofSch ‘A’ quoted rates. |
200 | (h) The Contractor shall pay the wages to the operators/helpers (as applicable) through e-payment i.e Adhaar linked bank accounts (credit to their bank account). Engineer-in-charge shall ensure that e-payment made to operator/helpers and their wages shall not be less than minimum wages fixed by state Govt or Central Govt whichever is more. Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engineer-in-charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified. (j) It is the responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevaling scales as laid down by Ministry of labour for all operator/helper (as appliable) and necessary proof to this regard shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-charge for verification & record.The quoted rates shall be deemend to be included of above provisions.In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, the same shall be recovered from his dues as per the prevailing scale plus 15 percent profit. (k) The contractor shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to the Engineer-in-Charge as well as officers detailed by central labour department. |
201 | (l) Defective parts of plants will be replaced and measured under respective item of this schedule. |
202 | (m)Power supply for operating the installations will be made availiable by department free of cost. |
