4Shift of work: Shfit 1 (6 a.m. to 2 p.m.) 1 no. skilled& 1 no. Helper. Shfit 2 (2 p.m. to 10p.m .) - 1 no.skilled& 1 no. Helper. Shfit 3 (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.) - 1 no.skilled& 1 no. Helper.
5The AC Mechanic/Operator should have I.T.I. in Refrigeration & Air-conditioning from any authorized institute and minimum 2 years of working experience (The Agency has to provide necessary certificates before issuance of Final Acceptance). The AC Mechanic has to take preventive measures/action in case of any type of abnormalities/fault found before as well as during functioning/operation of A.C. machines/Plant unit as well as cope up with any kinds of fatal accident i.e., causing of fire break-out arising out of A.C. machines. This should be treated as mandatory.
6Standard Log Books shall be maintained by the contractor day by day and countersigned by the concern JE. It is necessary to draw clear view of different parameters like Ampere, head pressure, back pressure, oil pressure, water pressure, load current & voltage etc. and other particulars as per prescribed proforma). This periodical recording in the Log book is to be signed by the AC Mechanic/Operator and verified & signed by concerned Junior Engineer, P.W.D (Electrical) & Assistant Engineer, P.W.D (Electrical) and the same should be sent to the concerned Executive Engineer through proper channel at the time of submission of bills
7Should provide Skilled & Helper per shift wise as per agreement or as per direction of EIC . Note: No repeated duty / duty at another place at a time for man will be allowed
8The AC Mechanic/Operator should be dutiful and polite to all. He has to keep watch on all the system equipments so that proper action may be taken from any difficulties.
9The AC plant equipments, accessories should be kept clean regularly by the Operator. Daily/periodical checking & physical cleaning of all Air-conditioning system equipments are mandatory.
10Penalty may be imposed for non-operation of the Air-conditioning systems in time as well as for absence of the operational staff. The decision of the Executive Engineer(Electrical) will be final in this respect.
11The agency should be responsible for any damage to the Air-conditioning systems/plant equipments/accessories due to mishandling / mal-operation done by his staff and shall be liable for the compensation for the same which would be recovered from the bill as per assessment & direction of E.I.C. and the accused staff should be replaced immediately.
12The agency shall maintain one attendance register at site, to be signed regularly by the staff on duty and the same should be authenticated/verified by the concerned Junior Engineer(Electrical) and Assistant Engineer(Electrical). The copy of this Attendance Register duly counter signed by the concerned Assistant Engineer(Electrical) should be submitted along with the bill.
13The agency will be held responsible for any damage, losses / accident due to negligence of duties for his site staff. No Department Service will be eligible at site for such normal maintenance Work.
14The agency shall provide photo identity cards and liveries to all the AC Mechanic/Operator employed, including substitutes.
15The agency will have to immediately replace any or all members of the AC Mechanic/Operational staff, who has been reported against.
16Any abnormalities/faults occurred on any Air-conditioning systems/plant equipments should be brought to the notice of EIC immediately in writing and over telephone for further course of action
17The contractor shall be responsible to coordinate and liaise with local authorities.
18The agency will provide the workers with necessary testing and safety equipment and also follow all the safety measures strictly.
19The concerned Executive Engineer reserves the right to terminate the contract against one month notice for non-satisfactory performance or other administrative reasons.
20The contractor will be held responsible for any damages of the equipments due to improper operation or negligence or lapses on his part.
21Any inconvenience caused so far as performance of functioning/operation of Air-conditioning systems/plant due to negligence in the part of the agency, if detected, will be liable to penalty. Quantum of penalty would be decided by EIC depending on the gravity of situation.
22In case of any staff or any of the representatives of the entrusted Agency are found to be engaged in any illegal activities, the responsibility for the same should be borne by the agency.
23The agency should pay at least the minimum wages to workers engaged as per prevailing State Govt. Law. It is desirable that age of workers engage by the agency should neither below twenty years nor exceed sixty years.
24The staff shoud perform his duties at other sites in the campus of NBMCH if required.
25The agency must be provide the uniform to the maintenance staff.
26The agency must be provide a common mobile no to the staff with whatsapp facility.
27If any kind of incapability & negligence are noticed in observing all the said terms & conditions against the acceptance/agreement, then necessary deduction in payment will be made in pro-rata basis as decided by the Engineer-In-Charge. In that case the above-said contract may be terminated without issuing any notice and stringent & punishable action may be taken against the company.
28Distribution wiring in 1.1 KV single core stranded "FR" PVC insulated & unsheathed copper wire (Brand approved by EIC) in 20mm size PVC rigid conduit "FR" (Precision make) incl. necy. fittings as required A) 2 x 36/0.3 (2.5 sqmm) + 1 x 22/0.3 (1.5 sqmm) ECC
