31Disconnecting electrically and mechanically indoor/outdoortransformersinside the substation or outdoor type onoutside plinth upto 630 KVA capacity, carefully for major/minor repairs complete all as specified and directed.
32M&Llifting of core assembly by opening of top cover and other items for checking of faults/repair and lowering / refixing the same in its original position after inspection to make it ready for transportation to carry out rewinding work in workshop including transportation of unservicieable transformer upto 630 KVA capacity to workshop ( rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation , T&P and men power ) complete all as specified and directed.
33M&L for transportation of transformer of capacity upto 400 KVA from MES Yard to site location using Hydra/Crane and truck as per requirement to replace defective transformer including installation, testing and connecting at site and to deposit the same to MES Yard after receipt and installation of repaired transformer at site complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Contractor must arrange for transportation and installation for replacement of transformer at site immediately after receipt of verbal/telephonic/written complaint from JE/Engr-in-Charge within 1 day. Any delay beyond 1 day post receipt of complaint shall be penalized @ Rs 2500/- per day and shall be recovered from next due RAR.
34M&L for alternative arrangement by hiring, transportation of transformer of capacity 500to 630 KVA in place of unserviceable transformer on hire basis for 15 days including, installation, connecting and testing of transformer and return back after installation of repaired transformer complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Contractor must arrange hired transformer including transportation and installation at site immediately after receipt of verbal/telephonic/written complaint from JE/Engr-in-Charge within 1 day. Any delay beyond 1 day post receipt of complaint shall be penalized @ Rs 3500/- per day and shall be recovered from next due RAR. (ii) Repairing of transformer must be completed within 15 days after receipt of verbal/ telephonic/ written complaint from JE/Engr-in-Charge. In case of any delay, no extra claim will be entertained towards hiring charges beyond 15 days and the contractor shall not be allowed to shift the hired transformer until replaced by repaired transformer.In case of any kind of fault / defect occurred in hired transformer, the contractor shall have to arrange further replacement without any additional cost and shall repair the defect from his own expenses. (iii)Contractor should check the available infrastructure and to be sure regarding safety of hired transformer before installation.The rate quoted is deemed to be including transportation cost, earthing lead etc.
35Takingout the unserviceable copper windingfrom transformer of capacity upto 400 KVA after opening top cover,and carrying out the following workcomplete all as specified and directed :- (a) Dismantling of all attachment viz breather assembly, conservator, oil temperature gauge, HT/LT bushing etc. and keeping aside for reuse.. (b)Taking out the core with winding assembly. (c) Removing of complete winding from core and dismantling the core, cleaning of core laminate sheet and keeping aside for reuse (d) Cleaning of complete transformer tank oil fins, removing of sludge, and making the inside surface of tank dry by blowing of hot air as directed and specified. (e)Painting of outside surfaces of transformer complete by means of spray machine as directed.
36All as per item No 23 here-in -beforebut capacity of transformer 500 to 630 KVA. Note for Item No 23 & 24 : - In case the defective transformer not repaired & installed at site within the specified period of 15 days from the date of handing over of defective transformer/complaint to contractor, a penalty recovery @ Rs 2500/- per day will be charged from his dues.
37(a)Repairsto the transformer of capacityupto 400 KVA as follows :- (i) Rewinding of HT/LT leg coil complete using copper wire /strip of appropriate gauge, size and turn as per existing with double paper coated insulation including all requisite insulating materials like packing sleeves, separator, tapes etc. heating, varnishing the core and winding assembly after framing up top and bottom steel structure of transformer all as specified and directed. (ii) Replacement of all insulating materials other than incorporated for rewinding of HT/LT coils as per existing. (iii) Fixing only HT procelain bushing with studs, nuts, washers 3 Nos. and LT procelain bushing with studs, nuts, and washers 4 Nos. and connection with primary and secondary windings and reconnecting with the main terminals as required and directed. (iv) Fixing only breather assembly, conservator, oil temperature gauge after proper cleaning, minor repairs etc. as required and directed. (v) Replacement of all unserviceable gasket from top cover, HT/LT bushing with new one by using rubberised gasket sheet 4.0mm/6.0mm thick duly pasted with suitable adhesive . (vi) Replacement of unserviceable bolts with new one and fixing of existing serviceable bolts, nuts, washers of different sizes and tightening properly. (vii) Repositioning of core and winding assembly inside the tank, assembling complete unit and making the transformer ready for filling oil and subsequent testing as directed. (viii)Filling/topping up of new transformer oil of required quantities .
38(b) M& L fortransportation of repaired transformer to the original position (from where taken-down), disconnecting the alternative transformer, taking down the same, Re-installation of repaired indoor/outdoor transformer on 4/6 pole structure/plinth/inside sub station, connecting electrically and mechanically, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. (c)The following routine test as per IS 1180 (Part I) -2014 shall be carried out at repairing workshop/manufacturer having NABL Lab accredition and valid calibration of test equipments (i)Measurement of winding resistance. (ii)Measurement of voltage ratio and check of voltage vector relationship. (iii)Measurement of impedance voltage/short circuit impedance (principal tapping) and load loss . (iv) Measurement of no load loss and current. (v) Measurement of insulation resistance. (vi)Dielectric tests (d)The contractor shall give written warranty of one year from the date of sucessfull testing and installation of transformer. The contractor shall submit test report from repair workshop/manufacturer for above mentioned test. Note :-HT/LT leg coils copper wire/stripand transformer oilrequiredshall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this Schedule here-in-after as supply only.
39All as per item No 25 here-in -beforebut capacity of transformer 500 to 630 KVA.
40Supply only HT coils with super enamelled copper wire /DPC of high quality duly matching with the existing guage and impedance.
41Supply only LT coils with super enamelled copper wire strip/DPC of high quality duly matching with the existing guage and impedance.
42M&L for ON load Centrifuging and dehydration includingfilteration and cleaning of transformer oil by dehydration machine of 11/0.433 KV transformer installed at various site on plinth/4/6 pole structure of any capacityand topping up deficient transformer oil including testing of samples before and after dehydration and filteration complete all as specified and directed. Note :-Deficient quantity of Transformer oil required for top up shall be measured and paid separately under item No30here-in -after as supply only.
43Supply only transformer oil of approved quality as per IS having dielectric strength of 45-60 KV in 2.5mm gap for filling in transformer or for topping up as required and directed
44Supplying and fixing in replacement, Porcelain Transformer bushing on LT (440 Volt) side, including brass stems conical bush and gasketafter disconnecting electrically and mechanically for indoor/outdoor transformer of capacity upto 400 KVA andre-connecting electrically and mechanically, testingcomplete all as specified and directed. Note.The rates quoted is deemed to be included the cost of necessary labour charges for draining out & re-filling transforer oil,opening of top cover by unscrewing nut, bolts washers and provision ofpadtype bus bar almuminium of approppiate size /capacities of transformers withnut bolt &washers.

53Material & Labour for painting of transformer installed on plinth/4/6 pole structures at various siteof capacity upto 630 KVA with existing colour, with spraying machine, after cleaning, preparation of outer surface of transformer, including writing of SM No, MES and capacity of transformercomplete all as specified and directed.
54Earthing complete in replacementwith galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 3.5 m below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 2.5mbelow normal ground level, connected to galvanized iron strip 32X6 mm by means of electric arc welding of galvanised iron or steel as shown in electricalplate No 3 of SSR Part I, connected to earth test point and the equipment on the other side complete all as specified, including testing and commissioning complete all as directed. Note : - (a) The unit rates quoted against this item shall be deemed to include the cost of excavation and earth work in any type of soil, common salt & charcoal dust in alternate layers, PCC 1:3:6 as in pit, precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 with necessary reinforcement as in cover & frame for pit, funnel, watering pipe 20 mm bore GI pipe light grade, protection pipe 40 mm bore GI pipe light grade etc. (b)The quoted rates shall also deemed to include the cost of earth test point and earth strip/GI earthing and protection pipe upto 7.5 meter beyond the earth plates electrode.

56M & L for cutting and removing grass, vegetation bushes etc from surrounding4 pole/6 pole HT structure , outside area of HT/LT installation and removing all rubbish to a distance not exceeding 50 m as directed.
57Disconnecting electrically& mechanicallyoutdoor transforemrs upto 630 KVA capacity, lowering down/getting out from plinthcarefully for repairing /making of plinthof transformer andre- connecting electrically and mechanically after repairing/making of plinth, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note:-(a)Rate is deemed to be inclusive forhydra, men power, and other itemsrequired for temp energization of transformer. (b) M&L usedto repair the Plinthshall be measured and paid separetely under items of sch of work here-in -after.
58M&L brick masonry platform (suitable for 100 to 630 KVA transformer) having size 2.5 mtr x 2.5 mtr and total height 1.6 M (0.45 M below ground level including excavation and earth work, 1.15M above ground level including RCC slab 150 mm on top and refilling of sand/soil), PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 in foundation, sub class "B" brick work in CM 1:4, 15mm thick rendering in CM 1:6 on all sides of platform upto 150 mm below ground level, supply and fixing of 02 Nos MS channelsISMC-75 of suitable size for balancing of transformer, embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 up to 150mm thick RCC slab, including provn of stair case on one side complete all as specified and directed.
59S&F in replacement MS angle iron, flat,Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers,welding, bending cold or hot,drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint.
60S&F in replacement 3.15mm dia MS wire75x75mm mesh , made up into mattress or cages appx 2.00 mtr height and fixed with flate iron /angleby welding in position complete all as specified directed .

64S&F in replacement ACB 4 pole, 800 Amp, 50 KA, 415 Volt AC Horizontal draw out type , front operated with Micro processor based LCD protection release for adjustable over current, short circuit and earth fault protection
65S&F in renewal on load change over switch open execution of capacity 630 Amps , 4 pole , 415 volt , 50 Hz fixed in any type of existing LT panel/Feeder piller including taking out old existing unserviceable changeover from panels etc complete all as specified and directed.
66Material and labour for servicing /testing ofbreaker/control panelincludingCT, PT and relays in control panelof VCB of capacity 1250 /800/630 Amps and rating 11 KVcomplete as details mentioned as under:- (a) Details of servicing of breaker :- (i) Adjustment of mechanism if required. (ii) Clean the circuit breaker to remove dust and dirt. The envelope of the vacuum interrupter and insulating materials shall be wiped with a clean cloth. (iii) Apply a small amount of oil to rotary sections, sliding surfaces, pins, coupling section, etc.use grease for the operating shaft and bearings, and machine oil for other parts. (iv) Check for rust and wear. (v) Check Spring Tension and pitting of the Cluster Contacts. (vi) Visual check for rust and deformation. (vii) Check for loosened bolts and nuts, broken spring washers and snap pins etc. (viii) Check for loosened connections, rust, damaged lead wires. (ix) Check whether the contacts are damaged by arcing. (x) Checking of control circuit & tighten the connections if any. (xi) Check close & trip coil. (xii) Checking of Jaw Contacts Conditions and repair/adjust. (xiii) Replace the jaw contacts,If required. (xiv) Improvement of resistance of epoxy insulator and epoxy body by applying post heated varnish. (xv) Replacement of Dashpot/shock absorbers . (xvi) Replacement ofcarbon brush of spring charging motor
67(b) The following test shall be carried out:- (i) Primary Injection Test of CT / PT (ii) Closing & Opening Timing Test for all three poles. (iii) IR Test with megger in open and closed condition. (iv) Contact resistance test for all three poles (v) Closing coil resistance (vi) Tripping coil resistance. (c) Testing of following relays of control panelwith Secondary Injection Kit ,checking andprogramming of relay:- (i) Over current and earth fault relay (d) Testing of followig Aux relay (i) DC Supply supervision relay. The relay shall also have the following features as minimum; (i) Programmable rated current 1A & 5A, (ii) Last 8 fault record & 200 event record with time stamping, (iii) 4 analog CT & 3 PT input, 8DI &8DO, (iv) Communicable on IEC61850 protocol, (v) Disturbance recording upto 300 cycles, (vi) Self supervision function. The relay shall be fully integrated with the feeder, internally capturing feeder statuses if available including Breaker On, Off, Spring Chrgd, Test, Service, AC-Fail,Trip circuit healthy relay, PT supervision, inter panel tripping, Master trip relay, local remote and display the same locally on a built-in LCD screen and suitably labeled status LEDs. Relay shall have facility to locally Trip/Close the breaker as a backup to TNC switch provided separately on the panel. The relay shall be fixed on new 2mm CRCA sheet of matching existing VCB panel color and suitable size covering all blank space formed by removing old mechanical type IDMT relay complete includingassociated wiring and integration with existing HT VCB panel complete all as specified and directed.,
73Material and labour for Preparation of old painted surfaces of steel by brushing/cleaning stain, greasy spots with thinner, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint by spray machine on all sides of 11 KV VCB panelincluding writing of MES /SM No and details of feeder as directedby Engr-in-charge on graphic plastic sheetcomplete all asdirected .
74Material and labour in replacement Retro Reflective installation sign boards of size 5 feet x 4 feet fabricated out of 16 gauge MS sheet frame duly welded/riveted with MS square pipe of size 25mm x25mm at height 2.00 meter above ground level on stainless steel heavy dutypipe of size 50mmbore embaded 60 CM in PCC 1:2:4 type B 1 block of size 45cmx45cmx60cm including necessary excavation and earth work.The steel portion of the board shall be painted in stove enameled paint and the front & back of the frame shall be overall sheathed with blue colour base painter adhesive tape.The wiriting matter will be in English language on both sides with reflective adhesive painter tapesas directed by Engineer -in-charge.
75Supply installation & commissioning in replacement of 24V/40A Float Cum Boost Battery Charger unit includingbattery bank comprising 02 Nos of 12 Volts-100 AH sealed maintenance free battery.The CCCV battery charger consisting ofcopper wound,air cooled transformer, 01 Set single phase full wave bridge rectifier consisting ofdiodes andSCRs, liberally rated mounted on heat sink andcomplete with resistor/condenser network for surge supperssion .During auto float mode automatic changeover shall take place from float mode to boost mode and vice versa, 01 Set of solid state constant potential controller to stabilize the DC output voltage of the float cum boost charger, 01 No electronic controller , DCdigital ammeter,DC digitalvoltmeter, Potentiometer , DC, MCB for reverse battery protection . The charger should have alarm annunciation with visual and audible alarm with manual reset facility forfuse fail alarm. Float cum boost battery charger and DC distribution board shall be housed in powder coated sheet steel cubicle with panels of 1.6mm thickness , louvers for ventilation , gland plate will be provided for cable entry from bottom .The battery charger shall be divided into two compartments.The upper compartment shall house the battery charger & DCDB with all necessary controls. The lower compartment shall be suitable for housing the batteries. Tech specification shall be as under:-
