Priming coat is self-priming of elastomeric water proofing liquid (dilution with water in the ration of 3:1) and other coat needs to be applied undiluted, the coating needs to be reinforces with 40 GSM geotextile, to sandwiched between second and third coat of coating. The application shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with brushes, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. When 2nd coat is wet, the smart care joint tapes (at corner and edges) shall be inserted between second and third coat to secure corners and edges, let the material ooze out from the tapes corner. Same treatment of Smart care Damp proof shall be continued to the parapet walls to better envelope the whole area. The coating shall be terminated carefully to the other side of the parapet wall complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Liquid water proofing membrane shall be carried out by the approved applicator of the manufacture. |
