Name of Work: MISC REPAIR TO CERTAIN BLDGS, ROLLING SHUTTER, STEEL GATES, RAILS AND HANGERS IN TECH AREAAT AF STN ADAMPUR.

1Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc50m and making good surface in SOFT/LOOSE soil complete, all as specified.
2Cement Concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in wall or retaining wall any thickness, size or shape including pilasters, bultresses, columns, pillars and post (including cap and base) etc complete all as specified.
3Brick work using bricks as specified in PS-II clause 5.1, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.00 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6), complete all as specified.
4Brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size bricks (but except bricks) straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) all as specified. NOTE: Old serviceable bricks retrieved during demolition shall be re-used after cleaning.
5Cutting out cracks to V- section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out, wetting, grouting cement slurry with pressure gun to fill complete crack with slurry to prevent leakage in roofs complete all as specified.
6Taking down rolling shutter from any location, straightening of curtains, making good of edges, guide chanels, necessary riveting/welding, repairing to hood cover, rotating shaft and refixing the same after repair, greasing the guide channel to make smooth functioning, replacement of steel spring, ball bearing etc if required complete all as specified of size: -

9NOTE:- Replacement of spares/parts/acessories shall be measured and paid seperatly as supply only under respective item of BoQ).
10Supply only the following spares/parts/acessories of rolling shutter(s) complete all as specified.: -
11Curtain iterlocking curls 75-85 mm wide (each strip) made to shape from 1 mm thick mild steel sheet.
1240mm bore medium grade mild steel pipe made to shape & size as rolling shaft
1325mm bore medium grade mild steel pipe made to shape & size to operate the gear box system by crank handle.
14Lock plate of mild steel flat or angle iron as required at site.
15Guide chennel 3.15 mm thick mild steel sheet made with 75mm depth including necessary hold fasts.
16Hood cover, 1mm thick mild steel sheet made to shape.
17Ball bearing of suitable size and description.
18Bevel gear box and crank handle.
19NOTE:- Spares/acessories shall be all as per sample kept at the office ofEngineer-in-Charge.
20MS base wheel of dia 200mm and depth 60mm along with 2 Nos ball bearings and central pin on each wheel for hanger/BP door, IN REPAIRS, complete.
21Mild steel top guide roller of dia 100mm and thickness 75mm, fabricated with nuts and bolts alongwith ball bearing and pin on each roller/pully for hanger/BP doors, IN REPAIRS, complete.
22Lifting up carefully by mechanical means steel hanger/blast pen door leaf of size area n. exc. 35 Sq.m each, inspecting the parts/members of doors, incl. repairs, welding as required, removing unserviceable members, unserviceable CGI sheets, unserviceable pully/base wheels/top rollers/ nut bolts etc. and fixing only new parts/members as mentioned here in before, fixing steel door back in same positionafter proper servicing & greasing for smooth noise-less movement/operation of doors complete all as specified. NOTE: Supply only spare parts to replace unserviceable members, nuts, bolts,wheels,rollers etc. shall be measured and paid separately.
23Easing, adjusting,cleaning of rails, greasing of base wheels and top guide wheel of hanger/ BP door leaf having area not exc 40 Sq.m each and height notexc. 10 metre incl. minor repairs, welding, adusting base wheels and top rollers etc. to make the sliding door leaf noise-less smooth operation, complete.
24Steel rolling shutter (curtainmade of 1mm thick mild steel sheet) with ball bearing, as specified including top cover, anchoring rod, hasp and staple, guide chennels, strike plate etcand one shop coat of primer erected in position as indicated push pull or manual type, thickness of laths 1mm, including taking down carefully existing old rolling shutter complete all as specified of size/area: -

27Steel rolling shutter, gear operated type with bevel gear boxand crank hanle (curtainmade of 1mm thick mild steel sheet) with ball bearing, as specified including top cover, anchoring rod, hasp and staple, guide chennels, strike plate etcand one shop coat of primer erected in position as indicated push pull or manual type, thickness of laths 1mm, including taking down carefully existing old rolling shutter complete all as specified of size/area exceeding 6 Sq.m each shutter.
28Mild steel sliding rollers 1 metre wide and 5 metre long having frame made out of MS angle iron 65mmx65mmx6mm, rollers made out of GI pipe 60mm heavy duty to frame passing through both side bearing and axle rod 16mm to 24mm passing through both side bearings and fixed with frame for smooth sliding of loads, IN REPLACEMENT, complete all as specified.
29Iron gate hook and eyes for holding window leafs complete.
30Z section steel window lock handle size complete.
31Welding in repairs exc. 2.5cm but n.exc. 5cm in length, thickness of metal to be welded exc. 6mm but n. exc. 9mmsheets/ plates/any other steel members, incl. cleaning and preparing the surfaces while welding, and bevelling of edges as required and including applying a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of required surfaces complete all as specified.
32Framed mild steel workas in framed work such as doors, gates or frame for cooler stand with gusset plates, rails, braces etc, drilled for fixing of sheeting or other covering of door etc, to be prepared for hanging or sliding etc including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings and hanging and fixing similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified.
33Purpose made butt hinges conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 suitable for fixing to stone / concrete door and window frame complete all as specified.
34Mild steel plain black sheet 1.6mm thick as in wall ladding, steel gates and similar work, cut to size , holes, punched including round headed screws clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40mm laps joints with riveted or welded seams including bending or turning up, mitred angle etc as required comlete all as specified.

36NOTE FOR SERIAL ITEM NO. 8 TO 21: - The work is required for tech building of height upto 10 m. as such, Contractor will arrange suitable safety precautions for the labour at his endand cost of the same deemed to be included in rates quoted by the contractor.
37Framed mild steel work such as grills, grating etc. with ends of bars shouldered and or riveted or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, railings and similar work confirming to Fe-290-Gde E-165, complete all as specified.

56NOTES APPLICABLE TO SRL ITEM 41 HERE-IN-ABOVE: (i) MAKE:- ASIAN (APEX SUPREMA), NEROLAC (EXCEL ANTI PEEL), BERGER (WEATHER COAT ANTI DUST), (ii) Entire quantity of material for this work shall be procured by the contractor from manufacturer"s Depot & deposit the same with Enginer-in-Charge and same shall be issued to contractor on daily basis as per consumption at site. (iii)RGB value of four shades of disruptive/camouflaging pattern shall be all as shown on Drg No. GE/SK-1/19 sheet 1/2 & 2/2. (iv)The rate quoted by the contractor shall included for scaffolding and necessary formwork.
57Applying one coat (finishing coat) of synthetic enamel paint including peparation of old painted steel & iron surfaces of any description not other wise described over 10cm width or girth, complete all as specified.
58Two coats of synthetic enamel paint overnew steel & iron surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10 cm in width or girth, over a coat of red oxide primer for height not exceeding 10 metre including preparation ofnew surfaces complete all as specified.
