| 6 | NOTE :- The scope of above works covers the following :- (i) The repair / servicing / maintenance works on the EOT cranes shall be carried out by the trained / skilled technicians and shall conform to the standard engineering practice / code and as per the standard code/ norms of Government . (ii) The Cranes shall be inspected and serviced at the rate of minimum of one service per month. (iii) Attending to any break down within 24 Hours and restoring the service (iv) The services shallinclude periodical cleaning, greasing , oiling and thorough inspection of various system / parts, brakes , hoist wires ropes , rail align ment , DSL cuurent collectors , bus bars , tightening of bolts, nuts , electrical terminals etc.,and ensuretheir serviceability and proper function and safety . (v) Replacement of unserviceable electrical and mechanical spares/ parts, cables , Pendant type controls ,oil , grease ,Electric control panels, Gantry rails, steel wire ropes , drums , brake system , brake liners & control switches , bus bars , bus collectors etc.,as and when become unserviceable and ensure trouble free smooth operation |
| 7 | (vi) Replacement of gear oil grade 90 / 140 once in a year (v) Cleaning the entire crane and painting once in a contract period. (vi) Carrying out the load test once in a year or as and when required after a major repair work . Loads will be arranged by the Dept. (vii) Rewinding of Electrical motors , replacement of bearings etc.,as and when required (viii) Arranging thorough Inspection by authorised Govt Licensed Inspector and sumission of Inspection report in triplicate. |

(x) Record / maintain register of all maintenance carried out , spares replaced etc., all as specified and as directed by in charge. (xi) Adherence to safety rules and regulations in respect of EOT Cranes (xii) Adherence to Security rules and regulations of the Ordnance depot. (xiii) A list of Makes / brands of spares / materials to be incorporated in the works shall be got approved immediately after getting the work order. (xix) All tools , instruments and plants requirted for carrying out the above works shall be provided by the contractor. |
