5STRUCTURAL STEEL WORKS (FABRICATION & ERECTION): Unloading/ loading of materials for transportation, storing, fabricating at B&R"s shop outside the plant boundary, transporting fabricated items to site. Fabricationof structuralsteelfor pipe rack, technological structures,circular/rectangularequipmentplatformswith ladders,toe-guards,spiralstairway,technological platforms,Hose reel stands,valve operatingplatforms,floor openings,interconnecting platforms,walkway,cross over, operatingplatformetc. as per drawingincludinglayoutmarking,cutting,bending,grindingwelding,NDT (ifrequired),inspection,complete in all respect tosatisfaction ofEngineer-in-Charge.Erection offabricated structural items, aligningbolting,fieldwelding,minor modifications/ rectification, torqueing,groutingasperthedrawingandthespecifications atalllevelsandatalllocations complete in all respects to the satisfactionof Engineer-in-Charge. Scopealso includes: Farana Crane for Fabrication/Erection,Hard stand for erection, weldingmachines,all thetools& tackles,machineries, consumables, assembly, steel scaffoldingat all locationand all elevation,manpower,PPE, supervision,torqueingmachineetc.Carryingout welderqualification and follows by B&R"s approved WPS/PQR. Inspectionand testing.offabricateditem shall be as per approvedIITP / QCP Arrangingrequired welders, labour, consumables, tools & tackles, equipment,etc. Loading, unloading, fabrication, intermediate handlingand shifting to paintingyard and bringingback from paintingyard to erectionsite or godown. Erection ofFabricated Structural SteelElements suchascolumns, beams, platforms, ladders, safetychainforladder, staircases,technological structures,pipe supports,strengthening of steelmembersetc / StructuralModulesin positionalong with fixing of all type of ConnectionBolts (Erection,Hot Dip Galvanised/Non-Galvanised Permanentbolts), supply and placingof shim platesas per Specifications. 23Dismantlingand removalof under ground (upto 5 M depth) carbon steel pipe by gas cutting or by grinder (after removing coating and wrapping)from various locations includingremovalmaterial,fittings, flanges, valves, vents, drains, branchingetc.; pullingup the same to ground level with due care so that no other piping, equipments,machinerysetc. is damagedand cutting into pieces, if required;segregatingfor reclaiminguseful fittings such as bends, flanges, valves, by unbolting,gas cutting, cold cutting etc.; transportingand stackingthe salvageableuseful materialsto workshop/ store or as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge and shifting the scrap pipes etc. to scrap yard or any other location within refinery premises and completingthe job as per the instructionsof Engineer-in-Charge. Job also includes supplyingof all types of tools & tackles, lifting arrangements, equipment,machineries, all consumables & labour etc. to complete the work in all respects in a workman like manner includingarea preparation,taking clearancefor hot/coldjobs, blinding and de-blinding,area cleaningafter completionof work, flushing whereverrequiredas directedby the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : 1. Carryingout the job is under contractor"sscope and the same has to be compliedwith as per the directionsof the Engineer- in-Charge. 2. Civil works (excavationand back filling) for underground dismantlingshall be paid under separate item from Civil SOR. 3. Contracorshall get necessarywork permit from the refinery authoritiesprior to the above works

30RADIOGRAPHY OF PIPINGWORKS: Performance of radiographicinspectionon pipingof alltypes& thicknessincluding providingorhiringofallnecessaryequipment andwhateverelseeventhoughnotexpresselymentionedbutrequiredto performtheworkas per specifications andinstructionsof Engineer-in-charge.Ratesareinclusiveof radiographymachine, manpower, consumables,Barricadingwithwarninglights,inculdinggettingrequiredpermitsetc.andallotherequipments requiredto perform the radiographyat all heightsto the satisfactionof Engineer-in-charge.Radiographs shall be submittedto the Engineer-in-charge.
