| 1 | Dismantling and replacing the damaged roof/cladding, AC Corrugated sheets /GI Sheet with GI /SS Bolt and nuts and bitumen washers including necessary over lap 150mm at ends or as per the site requirement complete etc.with out damaging the adjacent sheets ,at all elevation and as directed by the E-I-C. The dismantled scrap AC sheet should be disposed at the designated yard as directed by EIC.(AC sheets, shall be issued free of cost from company Store) bolts, nuts .bitumenand GI washers shall be arranged by the contractor. |
| 2 | Dismantling GI Sheet/AC Sheet/PVC Sheet from roof/cladding and stacking reusable materials for relaying as per the direction of the E-I-C within a distance up to 150 m.The dismantled scrap AC sheet should be disposed at the designated yard as directed by EIC. |

| 4 | Providing and fitting AC ridge capping, gutter, barge board, curve with G.I bolts and nuts and bitumen washers complete. (AC Ridge -gutter barge board ,curveshall be issued free of cost from company store) .Bolts, nuts .bitumenand GI washers shall be arranged by the contractor. |
| 5 | Dismantling the damaged AC Ridge /Gutter /barge board and returning to the company scrap yard as directed by the E-I-C. |
| 6 | Replacing the damaged AC Sheet of any size with new AC sheet and new bolts, nuts including removal and refixing of the adjacent sheetings of P/Mc building roof as per the direction of EIC .Prior approval shall be obtained from the concerned authorities beforereplacement of AC Sheet for the emergency work at PM/c roof. The dismantled scrap AC sheet should be disposed at the designated yard as directed by EIC. (AC Sheet will be issued from KPPL store on free of cost).GI/SS bolt nuts ,GI and Bitumen washershall be in the scope of the contractor. |
| 7 | Removingdamaged corroded bolt nut,washers from the existing roof of the high riseplant buildingssuch as P M/c,DIP,CMP, CP ,TG,Recovery plant, Evaporators, Chipper house ,boiler house,crusher house and finisher at all elevation and fixing new GI/ L /J bolts 8mm dia as per the size required at site .The scope of work include alteration/modification of the bolt if necessary to suit the requirement of the site including all labour for fixing scaffolding etc complete and return the removed old materials to company scrap yard. |
| 8 | Removingdamaged corroded bolt nut,washers from the existing roof of the plant buildings other than that mentioned in the high rise buildingsat all elevation and fixing new GI/ L /J bolts 8mm dia as per the size required at site .The scope of work include alteration/modification of the bolt if necessary to suit the requirement of the site including all labour for fixing scaffolding etc complete and return the removed old materials to company scrap yard. |
| 9 | Fixingflash stripof size 10cmx10cm / 10cmx15cm of M/s STP on thedamaged portion of the AC sheet /bolts at all elevationafter cleaning the surface as directed by EICincluding all charges.The quoted rate shall be inclusive of cost of all materials , labour charges etc complete. |

| 11 | Tying tarpaulin/silpaulin of varrying size ,wherever required in plant buildings including hire for scaffolding etcat all elevationas directed by EIC. Contractor shall arrange good quality nylone rope for the purpose.(Tarpaulin/Silpaulinwill be issued from KPPL store on free of cost) |
| 12 | Removing the algae, vegetation, leaves, silt, pulp, fiber paste lime from the roof of RCC buildings of the plant and cleaning the roof thoroughly with wire brush, broom and other suitable tools and tackles at all elevations as directed by EIC. The quoted rate shall include clearing of blockage of drain hole at the roof and the debris shall be disposed to a place not less than 50 m designated by EIC. |
| 13 | Removing the algae, vegetation, leaves, silt, pulp, fiber paste lime from the AC sheet roofed buildings of the plant and cleaning the roof thoroughly with wire brush, broom and other suitable tools and tackles at all elevations as directed by EIC. The quoted rate shall include clearing of blockage of drain hole at the roof and the debris shall be disposed to a place not less than 50 m designated by EIC. |
| 14 | Removing the algae, vegetation, leaves, silt, pulp, fiber paste lime, coal from the gutter of various plant buildings and cleaning the gutter thoroughly with suitable tools and tackles at all elevations as directed by EIC. The debris shall be disposed to a place not less than 50 m designated by EIC. |
| 15 | Uprootingall types of plant growth/ vegitation from plant all types of plant buildings, parapets, sunshades,roof tops at elevation as per direction of EIC. The roots of the plants penetrated into the building surface shall beremoved to tha maximum possible extent and apply weedicid supply from KPPL strore free of cost. |
| 16 | Corroded Roof structuraldismantling:Dismantling the MS fabricated structures both welded or bolted as the case may be of the existing Plant buildings,roof structurals at all elvation etc. by gas cutting and disposing the same to company scrap yard after weighing the dismantled scrap material in the company weight bridge as directed by the E-I-C. Payment will be made as per the weighment slip and MRN accepted by commercial department The quantity identified as reusable materialsfrom the dismantled members will alsobe given the dismantling rate. |
| 17 | Roof Structure maintenance: Fabrication and erection for strengthening the existing damaged structures/replacing the corroded structures and for new MS structures as per the requirement at all elevation using departmental materials likebeams, channels, angles, platesetc.The quoted rate shall be inclusive ofcost of consumables ,all labour charges fortransportation of material inside plant premises, cutting, welding, fabrication, erection including removal and refixing the gratings/plates if required as directed by the E-I-C. Payment will be made as per the (IS) unit weight for the structural membersused for the work (All structural steel materials will be issued free of cost from company store) |
| 18 | Surfacepreparation of the newly providedsteel surface andapplyonecoatofEpoxy primer followedwithonecoat of Coal tar Epoxy paint as per the direction of the E.I.C.The quoated rate shall be inclusive of cost of paint,tools and tackles,scaffolding,and labour charges for application of paint at all elevation. |
