3Design, Supply,InstallationTestingandCommissioningof Variable Refrigerant Flow type multi unit air-conditioning system suitable for year round air- conditioning tomaintain inside conditionDBT 22 ± 4 Degree C and RH (50 ± 10) %for outside conditions of Gurdaspur Mil Stn as per IMD record .The units shall be of Heat Pump Type , air cooled, factory fabricated and factory assembled and shall be capable of providing both cooling/ heating complete with indoor and outdoor units etcas per specification given here under :- OUTDOOR UNIT Supply,InstallationTestingandCommissioningof outdoorunits including vacumising , Gas charging of Modular type units having actual capacity at 43 Degree C outside temp and providing non stop cooling upto 56 DegreeC .Outdoor units shall comprise of highly efficient scroll compressors, with all Inverter Scroll type compressor(s), heat exchanger, low noise condenser fan, auto check function for connection erroretc,centralizecontrollerforindividualcontrol as per OEM specifications of following capacities as under :-Note - 1.The Minimum COP at AHRI conditions shall be 3.4 at 100% load 2. The ODUs shall be capable of operating upto 56 deg C. 3. Leakage test for copper pipe will be done by contractor after installation. 4. Pressure testing & charging of refrigerant R 410 gas of complete AC system will be performed as required at site 5. ODU above 28 HP will be assembled by eithertwo or three different ODUs.

20Notes for Srl item No. 2.01 to 2.16:- (i) The contractor should get the plant designed , supplied , installed and testing Commissioning only by any one of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) namelyBlue Star/Voltas / Carrier / Daikin with their own makes (or) with their recommended makes for the components which are not manufactured by OEM. Any other makes which are other than OEM (or) other than OEM recommended makes shall not be accepted. Contractor shall submit proper documentary evidence before procurement action for all the items from any of the OEM given. (ii) The contractor shall intimate any one of OEM out of M/SBlue Star/Voltas / Carrier / Daikin along with a certificate from the OEM confirming that the entire AC plant work shall be got designed, supplied ,installed, tested/ commissioned bythe OEM and will obtain approval of the GE before engaging the OEM.The OEM shall submit the drawing ofmounting plateform and required staging and same shall be approved by GE before commencement of construction . Height of mounting platform / stagingwill be not less than 900 mm and distance of staging from building should beas directed by Engineer-in-charge and as per site requirement. (iii) COP at AHRI condition shall not be less than 3.28 and IEER not less than 4.36 under AHRI condition. (iv) The quantity and TR of indoor/out door units are tentative , however OEM is required to reverify the heat load calculation (for Summer,Mansoon. Winter) for each room for given inside and outside condition and select suitable modeland capacity as per specification given here above . Any changes due to design requirement shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted and nothing extra will be paid to Contractor.
21(v) The rate quoted for indoor units is deemed to beinclusive ofmaking cut in wall, inserting PVC sleeve and making good the disturbed surfaces to match with adjoining surfaces as per standard Engineeringpractice recommended by OEM. (vi) The contractor shall conduct Nitrogen test and vacuum test on refrigerant piping minimum for 02 days before commissioning. Start and stop timing & pressure maintained shall be checked and the readings recorded shall be counter signed by Engineer- in- Charge. The unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of these tests. (vii) The contractor shall submit computer generated reports of the VRF system for a duration of 24 hour indicating pressures, temperatures, voltage, power consumed, etc complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (viii) The contractor shall submit 03 sets ofthe wiring diagram, final layout of indoor and outdoor units, technical Litrature, OP & maint sch, Trouble shooting chart.

23Design, Supply,installation, testing and commissioningofdoubleskin floor mountedCabinet type, Two Stage FilterAirhandlingunit of 2400 CFM, complete with specifications and capacities as under :- (a) Panel Construction and Casing. (b) Frame:Extruded Aluminum Hollow Profile, the profile box shall be of minimum 48 ± 2mm, Frame should be assembled using glass fiber reinforced nylon joints/ corner. (c) Panel:Panel shall be double construction ,PUF insulationhaving density 40 ± 2 Kg/M3. factory injectedby injection moulding machine. (d)Outer skin-----0.6 mm powder coated with min 50 micron thickness. (e) Inner skin ----0.6 mm powder coated with min 50 micron thickness. (f) AHU shall have Water Tight Positive Pressure access/ service door duly interlocked with fan. AHU shall have Thermallyinsulated totally sealed glass inspection window.Door shall be hinged type, hinged shall be casted powder coatedzinc alloy. Flush Lock and Handle shall be of glass fiber reinforced polyamide . Inspection lamp with limit switch. (g) Base Frame : Base frame ZHK Indu. GR-LP80 galvanized steel. (h) Mixing Box Section : Mixing box shall have fresh air, return air damper.The dampers shall be low leakage Aerofoil design and in Aluminum Construction. Fresh air spigot shall be suitable for 500 FPM velocity, return air spigot shall be suitable for min 500 FPM velocity. (j)Filter Section : Filter section with 50 mm thick box type pre- filter (MERV-8) & 305 mm thick bag type fine filter( MERV-12 ) mounted on a common filter frame , discharge plenum with 305 mm thick HEPA filter (MERV-17) . Pre filters having efficiency 90 % down to 10 micron and fine filters having efficiency 95 % down to 5 micron.Filter face velocity as min 500 FPM however velocity across media shall be 350 FPM. Make : Mechmaark/ Spectrum/ American Airfilters.
24(k) COIL SECTION :-The cooling coil shall have 6 Rows Deep having suitable coil face area, copper tubes thickness 0.3 mm , outer tube dia 9.5 mm in GI coil casing .Drain Pan material shall be SS-304 and drain Pan thickness 22 gauge duly insulated 13 mm thick close cell Nitrile Rubber insulation material for Drain Tray.No of Aluminum Fins per Sq. inch : 12 to 13having thickness of 0.15mm (Note : Coil should be AHRI Certified). (l) Heater Section : Heater Sectionwith heater arranged in banks of cap 1 KWX3 Nos (2 Banks) for Monsoon reheating complete with Gyserstat , power and control wiring inclusive of all above for automatic temp and humidity control. (i) All heaters shall be manufactured out of S.S. 316L sheathed tube for higher temperature upto 600 C. Each heating element is made of NiCr 80/20 resistance wires. (ii) Each element shall be provided with two adjustable fixing arrangements. Tube diameter shall varies from 8.0mm to 15mm. (iii) Fins of S.S. shall be provided to enlarge the heat surface. (iv) Supply Voltage shall varies from 110V to 240V AC/1PH/50Hz. (m) FAN SECTION : Fan section with DIDW centrifugalbackward curved ,fan type BC and Dia 280 mm, Fan efficiency 74.5 %, noise level@1 m distance 74.4 dBA , max fan out velocity- 8.70 m/s , RPM 3147 ,TEFC drive squirral cage motors (IE2 efficiency) , motor rating 2.2 KW ,suitable for 415 + 10% volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase AC supply. Fans should be AMCA/ EuroVentcertified for Air & sound performance. (n) Fan shall be dynamically trim (Two stage) balanced to ISO1940 and AMCA 204/3 - G2.5 quality grade after assembly. (o) Fan Impeller should be made of Cold Rolled sheet steel polyester powder coating, Fan Inlet Cone must be Spurn GSS having GSM 220,zero sprangle . (p) Impeller should be directly coupled on Motor shaft to avoid any maintenance & to save drive transmission losses.
25(q) Fan assembly should be mounted on Cushy foot mounted Vibration isolator. Make of Cushy foot mountains : Kruger/ Vibrosolve. (r) Fan performance curve should be of Single RPM curve. It should not be multi RPM curve. Make of Fan : Nicotra/Kruger/Greenheck & Make of Motor : Siemens/Bharat Bijlee/Havells. (s) AHU manufacturer should not fabricate Fan motor structure etc at their manufacturing unit and they should supply entire assembly from fan manufaturer. (t) Provision for Pan Humidifier :Provision for Pan Humidifier (only space for pipe insertion and necessary accessories/ fitting reqd for making the AHU airtight. Pan humidifier will be mounted outside the unit as per BOQ Item srl No. 6) Make of AHU ;- Edgetech/M/s System Air/Citizen/Zeco Bahadurgarh. Note : The scope of AHU shall also include following:- (a) UVGI lamps (UL Certified) - UVC emitter (Each AHU will have combination of 2 feet long UVC lamps, each lamp shall cover effectively 4sqft of area ) in coil section of AHU. The scope shall include electrical wiring and electrical isolator for following capacities. The purpose of these UVC emitters is to improve indoor air quality (IAQ) by eliminating mould, bacteria and other contaminants in down stream section. (b) AHU"s shall be mounted on P.C.C. blocks with neoprene pads in between. (c) Set of each Temperature & water pressure guage (100 mm Ø) bourdon type with brass ball valve of 3/8" Ø and SS tubing, socket. Range (0-50)for coils. 26Supply and installation of Pan type Humidifier of cap 6 KW each for OTs AHU for humidification made from stainless steel 304 sheet in welded construction, inlet, drain and steam outlet nozzle, 25 mm thick fibre glass wool (150 Crown) and cladded with 22 Gauge GI Sheet . Controls comprising of low level switch float valve with SS ball, site glass, high temp cut out thermostat, digital humidistate with necessary wiring with copper bus bar connector. Note : One set for OT1 AHU & another for OT2 AHU. Make:Honeywell/Siemens/Rapid Cool.
27Supply and Installation of AHU kit complete with remote as specified. Model: VAEKIT-065 and Expansion valve and Drier as per OEM recommendation for automatic control of temp & RH in OT1 & OT2 including reqd no of air sensor with suitable mounting arrangement & necessary safety protection, interlocking with heat pump as per OEM recommandation. Note : Cost for control cable for interconncetion are deemed to be included in scope of work as per manufacturer instructions.

29Suppy and installation oflaminar flow (LAF) system direct flow from ceiling to floor. 105DG SET WORKS
106Supply, install, commissioning and testing complete Diesel Engine driven generating set of capacity 160KVA or next higher capacity available/manufactured , water cooled, 415 volts (AC 3 Phase, 4 wire system of supply) 50 HZ at power factor 0.8 minimum. The DG set shall consist of a diesel engine coupled directly to Alternator or as recommended by the manufacturer on a common base frame and thereafter installed in the CPCB-II approved accoustic enclosure. (The complete set conforming to and test certificates as per CPCB-II norms and as specified) all as specified complete with AMF control panel with two number of outgoings standardized by manufacturer, fuel tank with mounting arrangement and inlet, outlet, return oil arrangement flexible exhaust pipe complete and shall comprise the following :- (a) Engine (Prime Mover) : Diesel engine 1500 RPM of suitable BHP Turbo charged water cooled otherwise as applicable to the model mentioned) 12 volts electric battery start, complete with fly wheel and all standard fittings/fixtures as per manufacturing practice including suitable engine control panel/Dash Board with electronic techometer. Lub oil temperature & pressure gauges water temp gauge and battery charging gauge including safety automatic shut down in case of fault detection such as high water temperature low lubrication on pressure, over speed and also including self starter alternator for charging of bateries, cogged V. Belt, fuel tank ( minimum 12 hrs capcity of consumption) with first fill of lub oil and coolant (as applicable) etc. (b) Alternator AC alternator, 3 phase, 415 volts, 4 wire rated line current output of 160 KVA, Pf 0.8 ,1500 RPM insulation class enclosure/SPDP self excited, self regulated brushess, complete with AVR with +1% voltage regulation directly coupled to and match the above engine. 107(e) Acoustic Enclosure Provision of an integral type approved/certified acoustic enclosure (Make of enclosure shall be as per CPCB for the DG sets to restrict the noise level to 75 dba at one meter. It shall be made of 2mm thick CRCA /MS sheet with powder coated finish on outside and provided with non igniting fire resistance/retardant foam as acoustic material and provided opanable and lockable doors with air tight gasket, interior light arrangement 02 Nos 20 watt CFL with ON/OFF switch to meet latest emission norm. The base frame shall be of ISMC. It shall also include the following :- (i) Silencer : Absorption type non-resistance, resisdential and exhaust pipe covered with asbestos rope lagging . (ii) Internal wiring with PVC copper conductor cable IS 694 marked. FRLS in conduit and fluorescent lamp fittings. (iii) Fuel tank of 12 hours capacity but not less than made of 14 SWG CRCA / MS sheet duly powder coated and provided with float, gauge and fuel float switch. (f) One Nos 12V x 180 AH 25 Plates maintenance free batteries complete with battery lead ,provided one side copper thimble and other side heavy duty brass terminal (As recommended by manufacturer) Note. (i) Catalogues Operation and maintenance manual, spare parts list overhauling manual 03 sets. (ii) Maintenance chart and manufacturer instruction shall be display on wooden board including catalogue board. 108Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick,buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 metres below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers alround, top & bottom and electrode connection by using galvanized iron earth lead wire 4.0mm dia (8 SWG) connected to earth plate electrode by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers made of galvanized iron or steel and thimbles, GI pipe light grade 15mm bore for watering with funnel and wire mesh, GI light grade 20mm bore protection pipe for drawing in earth lead wire, PCC chamber in PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 with angle iron 25x25x3mm frame work and pre-cast RCC cover in RCC 1:2:4, type B-1, cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @100mm c/c both ways and 12mm dia MS fabricated handle, test point complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Standard Schedule of Rates (Part-I) including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning filling and removal of soil to a distance not exc 50 metres and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Notes (a)The unit rate shall include for GI protection pipe, GI watering pipe, wire mesh, funnel and excavation, RCC pit cover, test point, galvanised iron strip from top of earth plate upto 5.0 metres above ground level and if GI protection pipe is less than 5.0 metres, no price adjustment shall be made. (b) PCCpit shall be provided at least 50cm away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fittings, junction, elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (c) If the testing result of earthingwork is not found satisfactory then the contractor shall do another earthing work at his own cost and nothing shall be permissible on this account. (d)Earthing work will be carried out in presence of MES representative.
109SITE CLERANCE & EARTH WORKS
110Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m depth for laying of GI pipe and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.
111Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soilexceeding 1.5 mtrdeep and not exc 3.00m in depth not exceeding 1.5 mtrwide for laying of cables,poles/stays and struts etc and getting out including trimming sides and forming bottom surface all as specified and directed at site.
112Returning, filling in soft/ loose soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.
113Removal of excavated spoil to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
