Flexible Median Marker As Per IRC 79:2019: FlexibleMedianMarker(FMM)shouldbeusedforimprovingmedian visibilityduringdarkhours.,UseofMedianMarkerprovidessafety against collision happening with medians during night time , or severe weather.FlexibleMedianMarkersshallbeprovidedwithfluorescent yellow colourretro-reflective sheetingType XIas perIRC:67. Flexible MedianMarkershallbeoftough,highimpactresistant,injection- molded,thermoplasticbodywithpropertyofflexibilitytoprovidehigh durability\"and U shape structure having rebound / bounce back property. the sheeting shall be of Type XI conforming to IRC:67 and it should be on both .the faces whereby providing maximum reflectivity at l,anger distances with adequate durability. The logo of the manufacturer shallbeembossedoneithersideofthebodyduringtheinjection moldingprocess.FMMshallbefixedbyacombinationbfepoxy adhesive and grouting/ drilling on concrete medians or properly constructedsolidmedians.Height:Themarker heightshallbea minimumof180mm.width120mm&BodyThickness:6.5mm.the shanks shall not be less than 20 mm and depth shall not be less than 30 rnm Reflective Area: Shall not be less than 90 cm square .

Solar Power road marker (Solar Studs) The solar studs shall be made of Aluminium alloy and poly carbonate material which shall be absolutely weather resistant and strong enough to support a load of 13,635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. Its colour may be white , red , yellow , green or blue or combination as directed by the Engineer . Its water resistance shall meet the requirements of IP 65 in accordance with IS:12063:1987 category 2 for protection against water ingress.The dimensions of solar studs shall not be less than 100 mm X 100 mm X10mm.ItshallhavesuperbrightLEDssoastoprovidelong visibility from a distance of more than 800 m. Its flashing rate shall notbelessthan1Hz.Itsshouldbeabletogivetheprescribed performance in the temperrature range of - 400C to +550C. Its life shall be not less than 3 Years. The rate shall include all materials, labour, equipments, fabrication, transportation, erection, installation andincidentalsallcompleteasperdirectionoftheEngineer-in- Charge.
