Name of Work: “Maintenance of AC Plants of NBS (Bay-1, 2 & 3) and DTG in HEEP, BHEL, Haridwar.”

1Maintenance of Condenser unit of the AC Plant of 220 TR Capacity, the work includes: (i)Removing end plates along with rubber gaskets of condenser unit. (ii)Physical inspection of copper tubes of condenser unit for any damage and performing leakage test. (iii) Repairing of faulty copper tubes of condenser unit. (iv) Descaling of all copper tubes of condenser unit with the help of Descaling Chemical/HCL to remove scale formed on inner surface of copper tubes for obstruction free heat transfer. The descaling chemical/HCL shall be run through the copper tubes for least possible time and utmost care should be taken to avoid any damage to the copper tubes. (v)Cleaning of all copper tubes of condenser unit with water flushing to remove scale and descaling chemical from them. (vi) Replacement of rubber gasket of end plates. (vii) Re-fitting of end plates of condenser unit and checking leakages if any. (viii) All materials like descaling chemical/HCL, rubber gasket, tools & tackles, etc. shall be in Vendor’s scope. (ix) All work shall be carried out in BHEL’s supervision and up to satisfaction of BHEL’s Engineer In-charge.
2Maintenance of Condenser unit of the AC Plant of 150 TR Capacity, the work includes: (i)Removing end plates along with rubber gaskets of condenser unit. (ii)Physical inspection of copper tubes of condenser unit for any damage and performing leakage test. (iii) Repairing of faulty copper tubes of condenser unit. (iv) Descaling of all copper tubes of condenser unit with the help of Descaling Chemical/HCL to remove scale formed on inner surface of copper tubes for obstruction free heat transfer. The descaling chemical/HCL shall be run through the copper tubes for least possible time and utmost care should be taken to avoid any damage to the copper tubes. 3Maintenance of Condenser unit of the AC Plant of 80 TR Capacity, the work includes: (i) Removing end plates along with rubber gaskets of condenser unit. (ii) Physical inspection of copper tubes of condenser unit for any damage and performing leakage test. (iii)Repairing of faulty copper tubes of condenser unit. (iv)Descaling of all copper tubes of condenser unit with the help of Descaling Chemical/HCL to remove scale formed on inner surface of copper tubes for obstruction free heat transfer. The descaling chemical/HCL shall be run through the copper tubes for least possible time and utmost care should be taken to avoid any damage to the copper tubes. (v) Cleaning of all copper tubes of condenser unit with water flushing to remove scale and descaling chemical from them. (vi) Replacement of rubber gasket of end plates. 4Maintenance of Cooling Tower, the work includes: (i) Dismantling of header pipes & nozzles. (ii) Emptying the water tank. (iii) Cleaning of water tank from inside and outside surface both. (iv) Removing scale from the header pipes and nozzles of the cooling tower. (v) Proper adjustment of nozzles of the cooling tower for its optimizing efficiency. (vi)Replacement of damaged PVC fills, if any. (vii) Repairing & descaling of its butterfly/globe valves. (viii) Minor repair work related to water leakages. (ix) All materials like descaling chemical, tools & tackles, etc. shall be in Vendor’s scope. (x)All work shall be carried out in BHEL’s supervision and up to satisfaction of BHEL’s Engineer In-charge.
5Maintenance of Condenser pump rating 18.5KW, the work includes: (i)Dismantling of coupling from the pump shaft. (ii)Dismantling of pump & impeller from the casing. (iii)Removing scale from the casing, impeller and pump assembly by descaling chemical. (iv)Assembling of pump and mounting it in the casing. (v)Connecting the pump and motor shaft through coupling. (vi)Proper alignment and adjustment of the pump. (vii)Minor repair work related to water leakages. (viii)All materials like descaling chemical, tools & tackles, etc. shall be in Vendor’s scope.
6Maintenance of AHU, the work includes: (i) Cleaning of pre filters of Heat Exchanger by detergent & water. (ii)Cleaning of heat exchanger fins of AHU. (iii)Cleaning of grills of Air ducts of the AHU. (iv)Tightening of foundation bolts of AHU. (v)Replacement of rubber V-belt of AHU, if faulty. (vi)General cleaning of complete AHU. (vii)All materials like detergent, rubber belts, tools & tackles, etc. shall be in Vendor’s scope. (viii)All work shall be carried out in BHEL’s supervision and up to satisfaction of BHEL’s Engineer In-charge.
7Supply and Replacement of dial type water pressure gauge of pressure range 0-10 bar.
8Supply and Replacement of temperature gauge of temperature range -10°C to +50°C.
9Supply and Replacement of 3/4” female type brass water spray nozzle and its fitting in the existing nipple of distributor pipes of cooling tower of AC Plant.
10Supply and Replacement of 2” male type PVC plastic water spray nozzle and its fitting in the existing nipple of distributor pipes of cooling tower of AC Plant.
11Supply and Replacement of aluminium/cast steel sprinkler 4 way 6 inch 110mm.
12Supply and Replacement of PVC branch pipes of size 110mm with socket.
13Supply and Replacement of bearing no: 6307ZZ for chiller and condensor pump.
14Handling of Pump Motor of capacity of 18.5 KW, the work includes: (i)Removing of faulty Pump Motor through decoupling from its pump, unfastening from its foundation and disconnecting from existing power supply source. (ii)To & fro transportation of the motor to the repair facility of BHEL inside the factory premises for its repairing. (iii)Re-installation of the repaired pump motor and connecting it to the pump & the existing power supply source. (iv)All tools and tackles shall be in Vendor’s scope. (v)The mode of transportation shall be provided by BHEL free of cost.
15Handling of Cooling Tower Fan Motor of capacity of 5.5 KW, the work includes: (i)Removing of faulty Motor through decoupling from its Fan assembly, unfastening from its foundation and disconnecting from existing power supply source. (ii)Handling the motor for its safely landing on ground from its platform on top of the cooling tower. (iii)To & fro transportation of the motor to the repair facility of BHEL inside the factory premises for its repairing. (iv)Safely uplifting the repaired motor to its platform on top of the cooling tower. (v)Re-installation of the motor and connecting it to its fan assembly & existing power supply source. (vi)All tools and tackles shall be in Vendor’s scope. (vii)The mode of transportation shall be provided by BHEL free of cost.
16Handling of AHU Blower Motor of capacity of 18.5 KW, the work includes: (i)Removing of faulty Blower Motor through decoupling from its blower, unfastening from its foundation and disconnecting from existing power supply source. (ii)To & fro transportation of the motor to the repair facility of BHEL inside the factory premises for its repairing. (iii)Re-installation of the repaired blower motor and connecting it to the blower & the existing power supply source. (iv) All tools and tackles shall be in Vendor’s scope. (v)The mode of transportation shall be provided by BHEL free of cost.
17Descaling of butterfly/globe valves, NRV, Pot filter, Y-strainer etc. installed in condenser water lines with the help of Descaling Chemical/HCL to remove scale formed on the surface/linings for free flowing of water between condenser unit and cooling tower and checking deterioration of pipelines due to scale formation.
