53Providing ,Laying & jointing and testing of GMSERW pipe confirming to ISO 3183-2007, (latest with upto date amendments ) having wall thickness and grade as specified below with bevel led ends and capable of with standing required test pressure in a random length of 5 to 7 meters including manufacturing reducers / tapers, all short pieces ,bends etc. As per site requirement made from parent tubes. The laying of pipe shall include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends. Tees etc.including lowering and laying in excavated trebches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic ,testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less then five times the dia of pipe.The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coatingboth inside and outside)as per IS:4736-1986(with upto date ammendments ) with mass of zinc coating shall be as perrelevent code. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS:-814:2004 of Advani Oerlikon/LT or IS marked mak. Tolerance in thickness and mass of pipe will be as per relevant IS Codes. The rates also includes entire carriage of material flushing clenning, DPT test and hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in -chage with in all leads and lifts.(earth work in trenches,flanged joint and butt welded jointshall be measured and paid for separately).

The welding of flanges should conform to IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364. including cost of gasket sheet nuts & bolts.
