1Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual meansin all kinds of soils including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 150 m as directed by Engineer-incharge.
2Dismantling carefully the existing asbestos cement sheet roofing of car parking shed includingstacking of serviceable materials at a designated place as shown by the Engineer - in Charge and disposal of unserviceable materials within 100 m lead all complete with cost of labour, shifting of materials, tools & plants etc.,as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge Note : Payment for this Item shall be measured by taking horizontal Width and length of roofingplanarea.
3Demolishing brick work in cement mortar manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 150 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
4Disposing off surplus earth / building debris/ broken asbestos roofing sheets/concrete or stone debrisin contractor’s own lorries at MCHapproved dumping yard at contractor’s risk and cost including transportationloading and unloading, tools & plants etc., all as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note : The quantity loaded in the truck shall be reduced by 30% for broken asbestos roofing sheets/debris, 20% for earth & Incinerator waste and 50% in case of stones / rubbles towards voids for payment purpose.
5Providing corrugated G.S. sheet of thickness varies from 0.50 to 0.63 mm forroofing including vertical / curved surface fixed with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm diameter with bitumen and G.I. limpet washers or with G.I. limpet washers filled with white lead, including making groove into walls for sheet insertion and plastering after inserting the sheet into wall, a coat of approved steel primer and two coats of approved paint on overlapping of sheets complete (up to any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces), excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.
6Brick work in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement :6 sand ) in super structure for walls at all levels, floors and locations (upto a height of 25m )using best quality conventional kiln burnt light weight bricks of class designation 3.5 N/mm 2 including raking out joints, scaffolding, curing etc., complete with cost of materials, labour, tools & plants all as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge..
720mm thick cement plastering in two coats consisting of 1st coat of 15mm thick in CM 1:4 and 2nd coat of 5 mm thick in CM 1:4 over the brick/concrete wall surfaces in superstructure upto a height of 25m including raking out joints, scaffolding, curing,etc., complete with cost of materials, labour, tools & plants all as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.
8Synthetic Enamel painting in two or more coats using 1st quality SE paint- Apcolite Synthetic Enamel ofM/s Asian paints, or Luxol Hi -Gloss Synthetic Enamel ofM/s Berger Paints or approved equivalent make and shade over wood/steel /concrete/road kerb stones surfaces of internal areas at all floors,heights and locations (upto a max height of 25 m) including filling up small cracks and crevices with approved filling compound, cleaning, washing, removing the dust, dirt, scales, grease, oil marks, loose painting thoroughly, sand papering,wire brushing if necessary, completewith cost of materials, labour, scaffolding, tools and plants all as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.
9Painting speed breakers, kerb stones, lines/markings, dashes, arrows etc.in two or more coats on new work withsolvent thinnable acrylicroad marking paintover a coat of primer conforming to IS164 manufactured by M/s Asian Paints, M/s Berger Paints or equivalent approved makeon bituminous/ cement concrete surfaces, including cleaning the surface, removing of all dirt, dust, scales, oil, greeseand other foreign matter, demarcation at site and traffic control complete with cost of material, labour,tools & plants etc., all as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
10Plain cement concrete of grade1:2:4 /M15 (1cement: 2 sand: 4 aggregate)using 20mm size stone aggregate at all floors and locations (upto a height of 25m )including cost of mixing, consolidating, curing and finishing the top surface etc., complete with cost of materials, labour, tools & plants all as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge
11Supply, fabrication, erection and fixing in position M.S. structural steel work made of MS angles, flats, sheets, tees, channels, pipes etc, at all floors and heights including one coat of primer , cost of labour, scaffolding, tools & plants etc., all complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
12Fabricating, welding, errection and fixing in position M.S. structural steel workmade out of Old drill rods,MS Angles, channels, I beams, Box section, flats, sheets etc conforming to I S for doors, platform, purlins,frame works etc. atall floors, heights and locationsincluding cutting to the required size, shape, fixing and welding as per site requirement for frame /brackets and fixing as directed including giving a coat of red oxide primer complete with cost of materials, labour, tools & plants, scaffolding all as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Structural steel in available sizes and lengths wii be supplied by Department at free of cost.)
13Providing and fixing APP (Atactic Polypropylene polymer) modified pre fabricated five layer, 3mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non woven polyster matt, finished on thermo fusible film on the underside manufactured by TEXSA or Roof seal or approved make consisting of coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @0.40 litrs per sqm by the same membrane manufacturer of density at 25 deg.C, 0.87 - 0.89kg/ltr and viscosity70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butane torch and sealing all joints an overlap of 100 and 75mm on the longitudinal and transverse directions and overlaps should be thermo fused to make the surfaces monolithic and preparing the surface and applying 2 coats of reflective aluminum painting on top of the finished surface complete cost of materials,labour, scaffolding tools & plants all as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Note: Payment will be made only for flat areas only. No extra payment will be made for overlaps/joints/tucking inside groove etc..
14General Notes: 1. Contractor shall inspect the site to acquaint with the site conditions as well as security conditions 2. All the dismantled/ demolished materials shall be dumped at one place as decided by the department within the lead of 150.0mtr. 3. All the samples of materials which are to be incorporated in the work shall be got approved by the Engineer -In- charge well in advance. 4. It is the responsibility of the contractor to handover the dismantled items to Dept. At site. Contractor shall be held responsible for any shortage/ missing of dismantled items until handing over the same to department stores. 5. The contractor is required to pay his employees / labour as per the prevailing minimum wages approvedby State/ Central Govt. The Officer In –Charge or his representative will witness the payment of contractor’s labour and is required to certify that the contractor does not pay less than the minimum wages approved. Payment to the contractor will be released only on such certification from Officer In –Charge. The contractor shall maintain 1. Register of Workmen employed 2. Muster roll 3. Register of wages etc. 6. Contractor shall quote rates for all items after considering cost of materials and labour components and all such conditions leads, lifts, safety precautions, security restrictions that are necessary for satisfactory completion of work as per instructions and site conditions. Security regulations shall be followed. 7. The rates quoted shall include cost of all tools and tackles, manpower including wages, liveries, all wastages and GST, water charges, Labour cess seignorage charges etc. as applicable but exclusive of EPF and ESI. EPF and ESI are reimbursable as per relevant clause on production of proof of payment as per CPWD norms.8. The contractor has to follow all safety rules of the department and all safety equipments, PPE shall be provided to all workers engaged by him. 9. The contractor shall use only river sand confirming to IS 383 for all cement works involved in the scope of work. 10.) The site shall be cleaned and handed over to Dept. after completing the all works as specified in the tenderom all repsects. No extra payment will be made for cleaning.
