(b) Making good edges shall be done with diamond cutters (c) Diameter of backup rod shall be 20-25% more than the width of joints to ensure tight fit. (d) Entire polyurethane joint filling shall be done with mechanical systems. (e) At places, if the mechanical appliances become impractical GE"s permission in writing shall be obtained for carrying out the joints filling manually (f) The work shall be got executed through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer Chemitail-Rai or Fosroc Chemicals (India) Pvt Ltd. (g) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for any excess width of the joints formed during diamond cutting. |
