| 1 | Providing injection pressure grouting on the wet concrete surface to arrest all possible seepage and dampness. Drilling at a 45 degree angle to intersect the wall joint interface halfway through the thickness e.g upto 125mm in the basement wall of 250mm thick. Installing mechnical injection ports and secure in place at a spacing 150mm to 300mm apart. The mix shall be grouted through this injected ports by means of mechnical pressure equipment for grouting the voids. It shall be ensured to inject each port to refusal. The mix shall be prepared by mixing Cebex 100 Fosroc, cement and water in the ration 225gm: One bag of cement: 22 ltr of water, complete all as specified. |
| 2 | Applying two coats of acrylic polymer coating (Nitocote CM 210) on basement wall including preparation of surcafe free of oil, laitance, grease, wax, dirt or any other foreign matter that could effect the adhesion. Cleaning the surface by using high pressure water jet to clean the concrete surface. Reparing all spelled surfaces or those containing blowholes or cracks. Removing all condensation with a sponge prior to application. Mixing of CM 210 liquid polymer component and CM 210 powder component strictly as per manufacture"s instructions. Acrylic polymer coatings shall be done by the skilled and approved agency and as per the method approved by manufacturer complete all as specified. |
