7AHU Construction: - Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of factory builtfloor mounted double skin type DX Air Handling Units made of 40 mm thick panels consisting of G.I. Casing of thickness 0.8 mm preplasticized outside layer and 0.8 mm thick GI sheet inside layer with polyurethene foam (PUF) insulation factory injected between them by injection moulding machine, complete with plug fan suitable for static pressure as detailed below, cooling coil section with machanically bonded aluminium finned copper tubes ( tube thickness not less than 0.5 mm ) cooling coil, filter section with filter having filteration efficiency and particle size matching to MERV-8 Pre filters and MERV-13, TEFC drive motor suitable for 415+10% volts, 50 +3% Hz, 3 phase, A.C. supply, minimum IP 55, drain connections, with stainless steel drain pan duly insulated , andnecessary vibration isolation arrangement etc. complete as per specifications and drawingsof following capacities.
8The unit shall be supplied with electronic expansion valve/s (Dx), thermostat/s, control wiring& all accessories as required for completing the installation. The price shall be inclusive of these items.AHUs shall be of following design parameters:
9Filter section: - It should consist of pre-filter. Pre-filters section shall be with non-woven synthetic media down to 10 micron particle size with an efficiency of 90%.
10Cooling Coil: - COIL- 1 No. 6 Row deep DX cooling coil of copper tue and aluminum construction. Copper tubes and Aluminium fins 10-12 fin /inch and Copper Header, Coil size shall be selected for air velocity of 500 ft/minute & velocity across filters at 500 ft/minute. Water side pressure drop should not exceep 10PSIG.
11Fan and Motors: - AHU must have Airfoil design AMCA certified Plug type centrifugal Fan with IE3 energy efficiency motor.Fan motors shall be energy efficient with IE-3 grade and shall be 415±10% volts, 50 cycles, three phases, totally enclosed fan-cooled class F, with IP-55 protection. Motors shall be especially designed for quiet operation. Drive to fan shall be provided through Direct drive arrangement. Frequency converter (VFD) for energy saving & smooth regulation of air flow, shall be supplied by the AHU manufacturer for all AHUs with direct driven plug fans. Fans impeller shall be selected for minimum efficiency of 70%. Plug fans in fan array shall have individual VFDs for every motor fan set. Certified Computerized selection for AHU shall be with fan selection and sound level spectrum. Complete AHU sound level should be given in computerized selection sheet instead of sound level of bare fan. 1 No. 5.5 KW TEFC squirrel cage induction motor with class "F" insulation 1500 rpm synchronous speed, operating on 415+ 10% volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz A.C. supply. Motor efficiency shall be IE3.
12Mixing Box: - Mixing box should have low leakage damper – actuator. The section should maintain proper length for proper air circulation.
13Ultrasonic Pan Type Humidifiers (Winter): - Vendor shall be provided ultrasonic pan type humidifiers to maintain inddor relative humidity duringthe winter seasons suitable capacity of . The section should maintain proper length for pan type humidifier.(Only for Floor Mounted AHUs)
14Accessories: LED light with cable; view port and cable gland should provide in fan sections by manufacturer (to protect further leakage).
15AHU sound pressure level should be not be more than 65 db(A) at the distance of 1m from the unit.
16Unit Should have: Mixing box, G4 filter sections, Coil section, Fan section.
17Supply/Return Air - The air handling units should have aluminium volume control dampers with % Open & Close marking
18There will be access door across every section of AHU. Vendor should have to take approval on type of Doors (Hinge type or removable type)
19UVGI Lams shall be installed in each AHU and the intensityy of UV light should be as required to kill Medium of COVID-19 virus as per ASHRAE Guidelines.
