(i) The sealant rope shall be designed to be inserted into the crack or joint cavity first and then melted with direct heat process.The modifier system contained in the sealant rope shall allow the material to withstand direct heat without experiencing degradation.(ii)The crack filler shall combine tenacious adhesive power with resiliency to protect against the infiltration of moisture or incompressible through repeated thermal cycles of expansion and contraction.It shall exhibit superior low temperature ductility, weather resistance, low oxidation breakdown and non-tracking.(iii) Repair to cracks shall be executed as per manufacturer’s instructions and shall be executed by the approved and trained applicator of manufacturer. |
