Notes: i) The excavated soft and hard rock materials shall be crushed to a grain size (as decided by users) by anautomated/compact electrically operated crusher machine installed at site. ii) Crushing to a grain size shall also includeManufacturing of Fine / Crushed Aggregates of required size and grading confirming toIS: 383/ IS: 2116 from available rock andexcavated, making aggregate by using stone crusher and sieves/screens or equivalent machinery/equipment suitable for making Concrete/ mortar of various Grades as per IS: 456 / 2250 including, testing the aggregates, all consumables, labour, tools and tackles,permits, protective measures for air borne pollution like sprinkling water, all lifts, etc complete as directed. iii) Providing, Installation, Operation and maintanace of crusher and other machinery of required capacity with all permits are in the scope of contractor and no extra payment shall be payable for this. iv) The crusher machine shall be dismantled and taken away from the site after the work is completed at contractor"s own cost. v) The contractor shall clean the area on which crusher machine is installed and make it to original condition without any extra cost to the department. vi) Making banking for road formation using crushed aggregates a) Beyond 150m initial lead & within campus Notes: i) Voids@ 20% for soils/crushed materials and 50% for soft rock/hard rock shall be deducted from fully loaded truck measurements to arrive at the net quantity for payment in case direct measurement is not possible.

26Plain Cement Concrete 1:2:4 using Portland PozzolanaCement conforming to IS 1489 Part-1 (M/s. 27Reinforced Cement Concrete by insitu mixing using Weigh Batching or RMC of Ultra Tech, Birla Ready Mix of Grade M - 30 (Minimum Cementitious Content not less than 350 Kg/Cum) up to specified level using Portland PozzolanaCement conforming to IS 1489 Part-1 (M/s. ACC, Ultra Tech, Raasi, Birla, Coromandal, Andhra Cements Ltd., KCP make) with crushed stone sand and graded stone aggregates of 20mm maximum size including mixing superplasticizer of brand M/s. Fosroc, Demech, Huntsman, Pidilite, Sunanda Chemicals, Agro Chemicals, MBT in proportion as per Manufacturer"s Specifications, Pumping / Lifting of concrete to the required heights, Concrete laid to properlevel, profile and slope, placing concrete, consolidation, finishing,curing, etc.,but excluding Formwork and reinforcement as specified and directed. Note: 1.The blended cement i.e., PPC shall not have more than 25% of pozzolanas.

Andhra Cement Ltd., KCP), crushed stone sand , graded stone aggregate of 10 mm maximum size at and at all depths and heights below and above plinth level including mixing superplastizer (M/s. Fosroc, Demach, Huntsman, Pedilite, Sunanda Chemicals, Agro Chemicals, MBT) in proportion as per manufacturer’s specifications including necessary shuttering, providing and fixing cover blocks of required sizes, consolidation finishing as specified, curing, making casting yard and curing tank, stacking carefully at casting yard and transporting to the site of use placing in position as shown in drawings, aligning, leveling, making good all the damaged surfaces etc., complete as directed for covers for storm water drains/trenches with and without holes including formwork but excluding reinforcement Note: 1.The blended cement i.e., PPC shall not have more than 25% of pozzolanas.
32FORM WORK:
33Providing centering and shuttering using 12mm thick marine plyboard at all depths and heights below and above plinth level, vertical, horizontal, inclined,circular including strutting, propping using steel pipes/acro stagging, removal, cleaning of the same for insitu reinforced cement concrete and in plain cement concrete work, pockets for machine/equipmet foundations as required including chamfers, splays, keys, wedges, nails, bracings, brackets and applying one coat of shuttering oil on all shuttering surfaces coming in contact with concrete etc., complete as directed. Note :- Plywood shall not be used for more than eight repitions.

37Supply, fabrication and erection of Reinforcement barsfor Reinforced cement concrete items at and at all depths and heights below and above plinth level Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more conforming to IS 1786of Tata, Vizag,Sail, JSW make, including transport to site, loading and unloading, making fan hooks of required shape, dowels for bonding masonry, transporting steel to site, decoiling, removing of scales, straightening, cutting, bending, fixing bars with chairs, space bars wherever required, in position with two strings of 18 gauge soft drawn annealed MS binding wire inclusive of its supply etc., complete as specified and directed.
38Supply, Fabrication and Erection of Structural Steel work using Rolled Steel Joists, Beams, Channels, Plates, etc., at all levels above and below plinth level including supplying of steel sections and plates conforming to BIS 2062 of make Vizag Steel, Tata, SAIL, Jindal Ispat or any other approved manufacturer using ingots of above manufacturer make, loading, unloading, transporting the steel to site of work, cutting, fabricating using welding/bolts, using weld rods of make D&H, Advani, Philips or its approved equivalent and/or bolts and nuts from approved source, erecting using derricks/pulleys/cranes or any suitable means, fixing in position and painting withone coat of approved red oxide zinc chromate primer and two coats of Synthetic Enamel paint as per manufacturers Specifications of make Asian Paint, Berger, Johnson and Nickelson, Nerolac, cleaning the sections /plates by suitable means, etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
39Using rolled sections
40Using Plates /Chequered Plates including MS insert plates/ embedded plates/pipes in medium quality conforming to relevant BIS codes of required shape and size, welding anchoring legs not less than 12mm dia MS rods, placing in position in concrete while casting, including painting with one coat of approved red oxide zinc chromate primer as per drawing in line, level and plumb completeas directed. Note :- Anchoring Legs will be paid under relevant items
41Supplying, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position, foundation bolts, through bolts etc. using MS rounds of make M/s Tata, Vizag Steel, Jindal or approved equivalent conforming to IS 432and suitablenutsincludingthreading, placing in position in concrete in level using template, providing grease and protective cover like covering with polyethelene sheet to bolts and nuts to correct levelscomplete and as directed by EIC.
42PRE-ENGINEERED STRUCTURAL WORK
43Design, Supply, Fabrication & Erectionat Factory, Pre Engineered Frames, Purlins, Side cladding runners (Girts), sky lights, roof extractors, ventilators etc., by cutting, welding, straightening at workshop, conveying, assembling, erecting at work site at all levels by bolts and nuts including subsequent field welding, drilling, grinding, bolting wherever required and hoisting in position for structural steel work upto height of approximately (+) 07.50m at eaves level. The size of the shed is 50.00m long and 30.00m wide C/C of end columns. The job includes provision of cold formed sectional members for Z purlins/girts, pre-engineered frames using M.S Plates, tie beams, catwalk, crane girders, platforms, ladders for the members wherever required as per design, suitable supporting system for fixing polycarbonate/translucent sheeting to prevent dislodging etc., complete as specified and directed.
44Design, Supply and Fabrication of Primary Structural Steel Members including rafters, columns, Crane Gantries, etc., of built up sections made out of M.S Plates having minimum thickness of 4.00mm and minimum strength not less than Grade E 350 and Quality "C"as per the Table -1 of IS 2062 : 2011 manufactured byM/s. Tata, Vizag Steel, Jindal, SAIL make including painting with 2 (Two) coats of synthetic enamel paint over 1(One) coat of Zinc Chromate primer of make M/s. Asian Paints, Johnson and Nickelson, Berger, Nerolac, etc., including welding with MIG/MAGwelding in a well established workshopusing electrodes or fillers of make M/s. L&T, D&H, Advani,etc., transportation of members to site, bolting/ welding at field by MIG/MAG, erecting members using suitable cranes/jigs/pulleys in line , level, plumb etc., completeas specified anddirected. NOTE:The bolts used shall conform to A325 ASTM standards equivalent to 8.8 designation High tensile bolts conforming to IS 1367:2002
45Design, Supply ,Fabrication, Erection and Providing walking platforms, stairs/ladders, bracings, supporting system as required/as per design using standard steel sections like joists, angles, channels, etc., of M/s. Tata, Vizag Steel, Jindal, SAIL make or any approved manufacturer using ingots of above makes of strength not less than Grade 250 and Quality "C" as per Table-1of IS-2062:2011 including providing Bolts and Nuts and other accessories wherever required, welding using MIG/MAG, painting with 2 (Two) coats of synthetic enamel paint over One (1) coat of Zinc Chromate primer of make M/s. Asian Paints, Johnson and Nicklson, Berger, Nerolac, etc., complete as specified and directed.
46Design, Supply ,Fabrication, Erection and Providing Secondary Structural members including Purlins, Girt members, Eaves, Struts, Ridges and other items made out of Galvalume cold rolled sheets of Z shape of 75 x 200mm of minimum 2mm thickness ofstrength not less than Grade E 350 and Quality "C"as per the Table -1 of IS 2062 : 2011 manufactured byM/s. Tata, Vizag Steel, Jindal, SAIL make including shop painting , fixing to main members using Bolts and Nutsconformingto A325 ASTM standards equivalent to 8.8 designation High tensile bolts conforming to IS 1367:2002 including overlaps, etc., all complete as specified anddirected.The minimum average mass of zinc coating shall 460g/m2. Note: Overlaps will not be measured for payment.
47Providing and Fixing Trapezoidal profiled Galvalume Sheets for roofings and claddings using sheets in 0.5mm TCT (Total Coated Thickness) and strength not less than 350 N/Sqmm including flashings, corners, ridges, eaves boards, rain water pipes etc., of approved make including fixing the sheets with Stainless Steelself tapping, self drilling and self fastening screws, and PVC Washers, etc., all complete as directed.
48Providing and fixing Polycarbonate Sheeting of minimum thickness of 1.5 mmthick, Pressed to matching trough Corrugations of roofing ofGE make or any otherapproved equivalent make for sky lights including sealing around sheets with GE Siliconates or any othersealants, treating for rain proof, fixing sheeting with SS self tapping screws etc., complete as directed.
49Providing and Fixing ventilators of required size, fabricated out of 0.5mm thick colour coated cold rolled Galvalume sheets for frame and louvers at spacing not more than 200mm c/c including fixing to the frame work, making it leak proof by proper overlapping/sealing with GE Siliconates around the ventilators, etc., complete as specified and directed.
50GI pipe hand rail made out of 32 mm /25 mm nominal bore GI pipes (Jindal, Tata or equivalent) of medium quality conforming to IS 1239, 32 mm n.b. as top fabricated horizontal and vertical members and 25 mm nominal bore as middle and /bottom horizontal members at and at all heights above plinth level, cut to size and shape including necessary bends, tees or with welding as required and fixed in position by grouting or by welding to insert plates provided etc., complete,painting with one coat of approved red oxide zinc chromate primer and two coats of Synthetic Enamel paint (Asian paint, Berger, Johnson and Nickelson, Pedilitie, Nerolac) of approved shadeetc., complete as specified and directed.
51STONEMASONRY:
52Random rubble stone masonry using approved local stones in foundations/pedestals and plinth at and at all depths below finished floor level in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement :6 using crushed stone sand of grade conforming to BIS 2116) including simultaneous flush pointing with the same mortar, bond stones, curing, etc.,using crushed stone sand of grade conforming to BIS 2116,complete as specified and directed.
53Providing & Supplying stone pitching 22.5 cm thick including supply of stones and preparing surface complete. in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement :6 using crushed stone sand of grade conforming to BIS 2116) including simultaneous flush pointing with the same mortar, bond stones, curing, etc.,using crushed stone sand of grade conforming to BIS 2116,complete as specified and directed. (Stones to be brought from outside)
54Providing & Supplying stone pitching 22.5 cm thick including supply of stones and preparing surface complete. in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement :6 using crushed stone sand of grade conforming to BIS 2116) including simultaneous flush pointing with the same mortar, bond stones, curing, etc.,using crushed stone sand of grade conforming to BIS 2116,complete as specified and directed. (Stones to be used from the site)
55BRICK MASONRY:
56Brick work using quality flyash (nonmodular) bricks of class designation 7.5conforming to IS12894 using cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement :6 using crushed stone sand of grade conforming to BIS 2116) at and at all depths below plinth level in foundation and in plinth, storm water drains, etc., simultaneous pointing with same mortar below ground level, and ranking out joints above ground level, curing etc.,complete as per specifications and as directed forsub structure etc.,
57Brick work using quality flyash bricks of class designation 7.5 conforming to IS12894 using cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement :6 using crushed stone sand of grade conforming to BIS 2116 ) at all depths and heights below and above plinth level including pilasters, steel / tubular scaffolding, rakingout joints, curing etc., complete as per specifications and as directed in super structure.
58Half brick masonry using non modular fly ash bricks of class designation 10, conforming to IS :12894 in partition walls in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 using crushed stone sand of grade conforming to BIS 2116) all depths and heights below and above plinth level including scaffolding, raking out joints, curing, etc., complete including providing stiffeners of reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4, 115 mm x 75 mm size at every 900 mm height, necessary formwork, curing, etc., complete as per specifications and as directed but excluding reinforcement. Note:- Reinforcement will be paid under relevant item.
59PLASTERINGANDPOINTING:
60Cement plastering 15 mm thick for internal walls in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 river sand) , and at all heights above plinth level over brick walls or concrete surfaces including making necessary grooves in between junctions of brick masonry and RCC and also other places wherever required over brick walls or concrete surface, preparation of surface, steel/tubular scaffolding, curing, etc., complete as directed.
61Sand faced plaster 20 mm thick in 2 coats over exterior masonry and concrete surfaces at and at all heights above plinth level as given below with base coat in cement mortar 1:4 with approved integrated water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement, of M/s. Fosroc/Demach/ Huntsman/ Pedilite/ SIKA Qualcrete / MBT or as per manufacturer’s specifications, 12 mm thick and finishing coat in CM 1:3, 8 mm thick, final rendering, making necessary grooves, bands, drip moulds as required, finished smooth internal putty(lapam) ofBirla/Jkofnot less than thickness 1mm(one) thicknes) double steel/tubular scaffolding wherever necessary, hacking of concrete surfaces, curing, etc., complete as specified and directed.
62Providing and applying white cement based putty in two coats withaverage thickness not less than1 mm, of Birla make or any other approved manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface (external/internal) to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.
63Providing Flush/ Ruled/Raised and cut Pointing on stone work with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine river sand) including preperation of surface complete as specified and directed.
64PAINTING:
65Wall & ceiling painting with premium acrylic distemper, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour.of Asian or equivalent in Pidilite, Johnson & Nicklson, Nerolac, berger brand, manufacture and shade over two coats of approvedprimer at all heights above plinth level including preparing the surfaces, scaffolding and cleaning, etc., complete and as directed.
66Painting exterior walls on sand faced plaster with two coats of Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint with comprehensive warranty of 5 years of required shade of Makes Asian - Apex Advancedor equivalent in Pidilite, Johnson & Nicklson, Nerolac, berger, of exterior quality haying 100% acrylic, of approved shade including preparing surfaces, external putty of Birla or its approved equivalent wherever required applying one coat of approved primer as per manufacturers specification, applying andfilling cracks or wherever required for external filler, curing, scaffolding, cleaning, etc., complete. Note :- Minimum Usage Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm. Over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm. or as per manufacturer"s specification
67FLOORING :
68Construction of Granular sub-base by providing HBG material conforming to Grading-ii of MoRTH Table 400-1 including cost, charges and conveyance of all materials to work site and spreading in uniform layers with motor grader or by approved means, on prepared surface mixing by mix in place method with Rotavatopr/approved means at OMC and compacting with 8 to 10 tonnes roller to achieve the desired density etc., complete for finished item of work as per MoRTH Specification 401(5th revision and as directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Note: ( Payment will be made based on levels for finished item of work).
69ProvidingoverRCC flooring, grade slab when concrete is in green condition, finishing top with hard finishing coat usingmetallic floor hardenerSikafloor®-1 MetalTop or any other equivalent from M/s. Fosroc, STP, Demach, Huntsman, Pedilite, Sunanda Chemicals, Agro Chemicals, MBT of approved quality and make at spread rate of 7Kg/Sqm or as specified by manufacturer for heavy duty floor finish including spreading after vacuum dewatering, ramming, consolidation, finishing smooth using power trowel to required levels or slope as specified, curing, etc., complete as specified and directed with vacuum dewatering.
70Vacuum dewatering of concrete using vacuum dewater technique for evaporation by way of removing the excess water using rigid or flexible suction mat incorporation filler layers and vacuum filler layers and vacuum generator (80 to 90% vacuum is to be applied at the rate of 3 to 5 minutes per 25 mm of depth), finishing with power trowel to get smooth finish all as per specifications, drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-charge for grade slab.
71Cutting using Diamond saw or any other suitable equipment grooves of size 6mmx12mm in flooring at construction/contraction joints or as directed by design Engineer, including filling with Polysulphide filler, cleaning the joints using compressed air, drying the joint before application complete as directed.
72Providing/fixing flexible Heavy duty PVC flooring and skirting using 2 mm thick PVC rollsconforming to IS 3462, manufactured by M/s. Premier / Armstrong / Royal house of approved shade. 159Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc consisting of following operations: (a) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS. 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over the RCC slab including adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment. (b) Laying brick bats with mortar using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1cement :5 coarse sand ) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs. (c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry using 2.75 kg/ sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge. (d) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge including laying glass fibre cloth of approved quality in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300 mm square 3 mm deep.
160NOTE :- 1)The treatment shall be tested by ponding water for a period of 10 days. If due to location of rain water pipes the average thickness of treatment exceeds 110 mm for easy flow of water the extra brickbat coba will be paid as extra item and the rate for the same to be got approved from the Department before execution 2) The waterproofing treatment is to be guaranteed for bone-dry condition for a period of 10 years in the prescribed proforma. 3) The measurement for payment shall be the entire area of terrace covered by the treatment measured between brick/concrete parapets without plaster and the area of vatas calculated by taking the length of vatas and the height above the finished level of the terrace.
