| 6 | Grouting under Base Plate 50mm thick grout: Removal of existing rusted packing plates for the remaining frames, not grouted yet, making proper frame alignment, providing missing foundation bolts, if any, replacing/providing new HD bolts for the bent bolts, etc., where grouting not done, supply of grout as per technical specification, execution by maintaining proper grout thickness (some of the present thicknesses kept are lesser and some are higher than specified) and curing of grout with placement of PEB frames with proper alignment, including all necessary temporary supports, etc. all complete approved by Engineer-In-Charge. The Cementitious Grout under the base plates shall be SikaGrout®-214 IN or equivalent approved, which is a cement based single component, ready to mix, non-shrink, ready to use, pourable and flowable, two stage expanding engineering grout in dry powder form. This ready mix grout shall have one-day minimum compressive strength = 25 N/mm2, three-days = 35 N/mm2, seven-days = 45 N/mm2 and twenty-eight days = 65 N/mm2 |

| 14 | Providing & laying design mix cement concrete of M-30 grade from a reputed supplier/prepared with batch mixing machine, and laying in RC pedestals and floors, using cement content as per design mix, using coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 40mmnominal size in appropriate proportions as/approved & specified design criteria, providing dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars wherever required, laying at site, including centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work, complete all as/direction of IOCL Engineer.Note:- Cement content to be considered in M-30 is @ 340 kg/cum. | 15 | Reconstruction of Pedestals (Except concrete and reinforcement price) : Breaking and reconstruction of pedestals and floor locally need to be donewhich have shown wide & narrow cracks, bent HD bolts. Complete breaking shall be done for the pedestals having wide cracks. For the pedestals showing lateral movement and bent bolts also having narrow cracks breaking of top 300 mm considered to straighten and cleaning of HD bolts. In all the cases the breaking of such pedestals need to be done after dismantling of the erected PEB frame and reconstruction shall be done using new set of HD bolts for completely broken pedestals. The quality of the existing reinforcement inside the patially broken pedestals need to be checked and to be properly clean before concreting. The final decision shall be taken by Engineer-in-Charge. The new concreting for the fully and partially broken pedestals shall be done by applying the a solvent free two component epoxy based bonding agent ‘SIKADUR 32’ or equivalent approved between old concrete and new concrete before the concreting works as per manufacturer’s technical specification. |

The repairing procedure and material to be submitted and approved by IOCL Engineer-in-Charge. In case the concrete at local area becomes brittle or loose or eroded and the crack widths are little wide reconcreting shall be done after removal of damaged concrete and cleaning of reinforcement. A solvent free two component epoxy based bonding agent ‘SIKADUR 32’ or equivalent approved shall be applied between old concrete and new concrete before concreting works starts as per manufacturer’s technical specification. |
