Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engr-in-charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified. (d) It is the responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by Ministry of labour for all operator/helper (as applicable) and necessary proof to this regard shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-charge for verification & record. |

(k) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of tools & testing instruments required for operation & maintenance of AC plants. |

447 | Notes :- (i) Rates quoted under Sch A shall be for both materials and labour complete unless mentioned otherwise. (ii) After expiry of the defects liability period of 24 months from the certified date of completion of work, Government reserves the right to order the contractor to carryout comprehensive maintenance services of the lift (provided by him under Sch A in accordance with terms and conditions detailed in Sch A and specifications enclosed thereoff in the event of Govt. exercising the above right, the terms of comprehensive maintenance service contract shall be for a period of three years. Total period of comprehensive maintenance service contract of the lift shall be three years from the expiry date of the details liability period. (iii) The contractor shall enter in to a MOU with the OEMs for the provision of the lift and further maintenance. The MOU for the post waranty/post defect liability period between the contractor the contractor and OEM shall be submitted at least six months prior to the issue of completion certificate of the main contract. (iv) The rate quoted under this Sch Ashall be deemed to include for materials and labour required for comprehensive maintenance including repairs. |
448 | (v) The work covered under Sch Awill be ordered on the contractor by the respective Garrison Engineer on every year through a separate works order for the lifts installed in their area at the rate quoted by the contractor till completion of three years comprehensive maintenance. (vi) This contract shall be opetative for the period of three years after expiry of defect liability period only for the purpose of comprehensive maintenance. |
