| 3 | Excavation of the approved type of soil in approved borrow area by mechanical means, loading into and transportation by mechanical means and unloading the soil within 1 km lead on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including spreading & levelling the earth in layers of 22.5cm thick to make ready for watering and compaction with dozers/ modern vibratory rollers or compactors but excluding watering & compaction in dams and dykes for all heights including construction, maintenance, watering and lighting of haul road and borrow area etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement of the fill to be taken on the finished compacted section under O M C condition). |
| 4 | Excavation, loading, unloading and carriage by mechanical means of all kinds of soil including stony earth, gravel and moorum etc. interspread with boulders up to 1/2 cum size with alllifts and delifts including dressing of slopes and bed to design level & section ( benching& stripping of Dam )and depositing the excavated materials away from the work site as per the specificationfrom the place of excavation including supply of all labour, all taxes as per norm, construction & maintaining haul roads required for the work etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 5 | Watering earth work upto the O M C condition and compaction by sheepfoot rollers / or any modern vibro rollers to earth layers not exceeding 22.5cm to 95% of MDD (maximum dry density) including hire and running charges of the all machineries, T&P and water complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (OMC compaction for 0.6m extra width beyond toe lines will be made and compacted section cut to designed section,Measurement to be taken on the finished compacted section of the fill under O M C condition). |
| 6 | Fine dressing of earth work in slope of Dam & canalembankment including trimmed to required profile and turfing with best compacted dub grass sods with all leads and lifts including periodical watering with labour, all other taxes as per prevailing norm and T & P till survival of the turf etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement and Payment will be made on survival of the turf. ) |
| 7 | Removing old revetment and approns and repacking with old stoneswith supply of all labour , T&P with all incidental Charges required for the work complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 8 | Rough Stone Dry packing in approns and revetments to all height, profile and level using hard granite broken stone of 30 cm. and above size and above of approved quality, quarried, free from weathered skin including filling the interstices with small stone wedges including cost, conveyance, royality and other taxes of all materials, labour, all taxes as per prevailing norm and T&P alongwith supply of all labour required for the work complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 9 | Labour for spreading moorum and consolidation with PRR including wateringcost and conveyance of moorum and including all labour, T&p, taxes royalty required to complete the item as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 10 | Gravel or moorum backing to revetments with cost of gravel includingaddingwater to plastic state, with supply of all labour , T&P with all incidental Charges required for the work complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.etc completeand as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 11 | ProvidingRectangular reinforced Cement Concrete channels of sizes 30 cm x 30 cm for command area development (CAD-WM) in Cement Concrete M15 grade using 20mm down graded crusher broken hard granite stone aggregate of approved quality quarried, free from weathered skin surface and any deleterious materials using clean and sharp sand of approved grading and quality confirming to the design specifications including hoisting & lowering to all heights, watering & dewatering laying the concrete in position to proper slope and level as per the standard size and specification & model section with keys, bends, turnouts, providing contraction joints and filling with approved sealing materials including use of AEA (air entraining agent) in the concrete mix and supply of all materials, labour and machineries, compacting with plate/needle vibrator and finishing the concrete surface including excavation of channels on the approved alignment and fixing & re-fixing of alignments for the channel for laying the CAD-WM channel alongwith trimming, dressing, watering and compacting to the spoil banks to proper sectioning, providing beads and grooves etc, cutting trenches for the channels, keys as indicated in theapproved drawing, curing the concrete for the required time with supply of all materials including cost, conveyance, royality, all labour and T&P complete as directed by Engineering - in-Charge. |
