(i)ALTERNATOR. Alternator shall be of capacity 40 KVA net output at work site after commisioning, derating factor as per MSL, high and temperature condition as applicable at power factor 0.80, AC, 3 phase, 4 wire AVR system screen protection, ball/roller bearing with damp proof winding on each pole, factor as per IS-1722, complete all as specified and directed. (ii) DIESEL ENGINE. Diesel engine shall be vertical type of adequate capacity suitable for above alternator after considering all applicable derating factors for site condition as brought out in (a) as per relevant IS code having provision of coupling shaft to drive the above alternator independetly after consiering power losses in all the accessories forming part of the set i.e. coupling and type, FIP, water cooled directed injection, cold starting RPM 1500, industrial type with standard accessories, complete in all respect with following provisions:- (i)Fly wheel with housing with suitable flexible coupling. (ii) Radiator assembly complete with fan, water pump and thermostat. (iii)Dry type Air Cleaner as per latest CPCB norms. (iv)Fuel Injection Pump. (v) Governor Electronic/ Mechanical variable speed as per manufacturer"s design. (vi) Flexible coupling with guard, nuts and bolts. (vii)Fuel Filter and Oil Filter with mounting. (viii)Lubrication Oil Pump.(ix) Self Starter. (x)Exhaust silencer residential type with wool/ hexagonal wire netting and aluminium sheet as per latest CPCB norms. (xi)Drip Dry. (xii)Instrument panel complete with starting switch and key lubricating oil pressure guage, water temperature guage and push button, tachometer and hour meter. (xiii) Engine protection unit for low lubrication oil pressure and high coolant temperature. (xiv) Dyanamo/Alternator.(b)ALTERNATOR.The above engine should be coupled through flexible coupling to an indigenous alternator, mounted on strong steel fabricated common base frame suitable for mounting on a permanent foundation. The alternator will be 3 phase, 50 Hz 1500 RPM self regulating, self exiciting type and will generate 40 KVA at 0.80 PF, 415 Volts, 4 wire AC supply under NTP conditions when running at 1500 RPM. the Alternator would be screen protected and fitted with end shields ball/ roller bearing and generally confirm to BS 2613/IS4772. (c) CONTROL PANEL.Cubical type, floor mounted on suitabe size frame, made out of sheet metal steel of thickness not less than 1.60mm with front hinged cover for easy accessibility complete with necessary control circuit, fuses, bus bar of suitable size. The panel shall have the indicating instruments and switches and provisions and making incoming and outgoing electric connection. The control panel shall have suitable control for all parameters complete all as specified and directed. (d)FUEL TANK. One No of sheet metal steel tank of suitable capacity to hold diesel sufficient for 12 hours running at full load but in no case it shall be less than 100 Ltrs, mounted on angle iron frame including the following:-(i)Fuel level indicator to indicate level of diesel in the tank. (ii) Drain plug with 2 meter pipe of drain oil. (iii)Fuel Strainer.(iv)Hose Pipe for Fuel. (v) Air vent.(vi)Manually operated one No. fuel pump (For filling diesel in fuel tank). (vii)Battery 12 Volts - 01 No of suitable capacity as per manufactures recommendations with copper lead,terminals, fixed on wooden platform/base.(e)One No. base plate shall be MS fabricated and of rigidly welded constructions duly ribbed sutiable for receiving engine, alternator, alongwith flexible coupling. It shall include set of bolts, washers, rubber coupling drip tray and protective screen around coupling. (f) ACCOUSTIC ENCLOSURE FOR GEN SET. OEM supplied accoustic enclosures sutiable for 40 KVA capacity diesel Generator sets duly fabricated of channel and CRCA sheet 1.60mm thick of required size having doors, sides and top insulation by mineral rock wool confirming to IS-8183 of adequate thickness, accoustic louvers/ oulet, ventilation system etc. complete as per latest CPCB norms with wiring and lighting arrangements. UV resistant powder coating applied all over the body, complete all as required at site and comprising of the following:- (i)BASE. Sutiable size as per provided by the manufacturer/ CPCB norms. (ii) STRUCTURE. Sutiable structure as provided by the OEM. (iii)DOORS. Suitable doors as provided by the OEM. (iv) OUTSIDE COVER. Sutiable outside cover as provided by the OEM. (v)ACCOUSTIC INSULATION. As per latest CPCB norms. (vi) INSIDE COVER. Sutiable inside cover as provided by the OEM. (vii) INSPECTION PORT. Acrylic sheet of suitable thickness with rubber gasket. (viii)ACCOUSTIC LOUVER/ATTENUATORS AT AIR INLET/OUTLET.This should provide excellent sound attenuation and good weather protection. Single blade and chevron blade louvers manufactured from 16 SWG CRCA sheet top section with and including fire proof accoustic infill as per latest CPCB norms. The under section is formed from 18 SWG CRCA performed sheet after covering with fire resistant tissues to prevent fire migration or by means of accoustic lines ducts. (ix) CONSTRUCTIONS. Welded or bolted. (x)VENTILATION.As per latest CPCB norms. (xi) WIRING & LIGHTING. PVC copper wire concealed in flexible conduit provided with flourescent tube light and MCB including the following:- (aa)Earthing panel (Neutral body) with GI strip (4 each). (ab)Control Panel. (ac)Cables leads for batteries. (ad)Power cable to equipment. (xii)PAINTING. UV resistant powder coating as per manufacturer"s specifications. (xiii) ACCOUSTIC LINES DUCT FOR VENTILATION. Accoustic line duct for ventilation to be provided made out of GI sheet. (xiv) SAFETY FEATURES:- (aa) Lockable doors with angle key. (ab) Handles with in built locks. (ac) Emergency stop push button. (ad) Thermostat provided to cut off engine incase of high temp with in enclosures. NOTES:-(a)The complete generating set including engine/ alternater shall be factory assembled by manufacture or other authorised dealer as approved for assembling the DG set. (b)Generating set will be placed on suitable foundation as recommended by manufactured and cost there of shall be included on the prices quoted. (c)Generating set shall be supplied with following maintenance spares at no extra cost to the Govt:-(i)Fuel filter element - 02 Nos. (ii) Oil Filter Element - 01 No.(iii) Fan Belt - 01 Set. (iv) Hose pipe - 01 Set. (v)Tappet Cover gasket - 01 No. (vi) Tool kit as supplied by the OEM with gen set.
2Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of outdoor type, plinth mounted step down transformer copper wound of capacity 250 KVA 11000/433 volts (at no load), AC 3 phase 50 Hz immersed naturally cooled, oil nature , air nature (ONAN) with external cooling tubes, delta connected on primary side (HV) and star connected on secondary side (LV) in accordance with vector symbol DYN-11 (vector Group) with neutral. Brought out on secondary side (LV side) and having tapping at +/- 5% HV side to be changed by means of hand operated off load tap changer gear.The maximum temperature rise should not exceed 45 degree Celsius in oil and 55 degree Celsius in HV/LV winding when measured by resistance method(necessary test certificate carried out at factory site to be produced)after continuous full load run on an ambient temp of 40 degree Celsius.The transformer shall be IS 2026 marked and shall comprise of the following:- (a)3 Nos proceiain bushing with arcing horn on HV side suitable for 11 KV complete with bushing, copper roads, nut and washers (b)One cable box on LT side (secondary side) consisting of 04 Nos of porcelain bushing with copper rods,complete with nuts and washers with two nos cable glands suitable forreception /taking out of XLPE insulated heavy duty armouredcable including glands, (c ) Oil conservator with filter type drain valve and oil level gauge. (d) De-hydrating breather with first fills dehydrating agent (silica gel) (e)Explosive vent. (f) Thermometer pocket on tank cover (g)One No 100 mm dia dial type thermometer, vapour presure type having range 0-120 degree celsius with metal guard having maximum permeter reading temperature indicatorwith resiting device for transformer. (h) Two earthing terminal on tank cover to facilitate fixing of 32 x 6 mm galvanized iron earth strip for earthing of neutral and body.
