14(c) Check the water /coolent level in radiator & top up as and when required .check oillevel & fuel and inform Engineer-in-Charge. (d) Check oillevel & fuel and inform Engineer-in-Charge. (e) Check level of electrolyte in battery and top up if required. (f) Check battery terminal and if found loose, tight properly. (vii) Fuel shall be issued by Department through issue voucher free for running the DG Sets.
15Note for item Nos.1 to 6:- (a) Contractor has to employ following staff for manning & operation of the AC plants at each shifts of 8 hours (i) One No operator having minimum ITI qualification in Ref Mech/Electrician trade from Govt recognised institute with minimum 2 yearss experience in maintenance & operation of AC plants in each shift of 8 hrs (. The operator must be competent to caryout the routine maintenance & check of AC plant including maintenance/check/inspection of electrical panel board etc all as specified for Sl Item No 1 to 5 (ii) One No operator having minimum ITI qualification in FGM/Electrician trade from Govt recognised institute with minimum 2 years experience in maintenance & operation of DG set in each shift of 8 hrs (. The operator must be competent to caryout the routine maintenance & check of DG set installationincluding maintenance/check/inspection of electrical panel board etc all as specified for Sl Item No .6 (b) Contractor will maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly , monthly, quarterly, half yearly, yearly or whatsoever maintenance is carried out during contract period in a binded book/register and will obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge.
16(c) The operator will ensure general cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis. (d) The routine maintenance/checks shall be strictly carried out by the operator all as per the list of routine maintenance activities with periodicity as per appendix "A" to PS hereinafter. (e) The unit rate quoted shall deemed include for maintenance for earthpits, cutting & removing of vegitation and upkeep of the surrounding area, all around the building upto 6m from the plinth protection all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per month will be levied and recovered from dues. (f) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator and design of uniform shall be got approved from GE.In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per uniform will be levied and recovered from dues. (g) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived from pro rata rate ofSch ‘A’/BOQ quoted rates. (h) Defective parts of plants shall be replaced and measured under respective items. (j)Power supply for operating the installations shall be made availiable by Department free of cost.
17(k) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes ,cess, levies etc as applicable including GST (l) The prevailing rate,wage,contribution etc shall be as applicable as on the bid submission end date. (m) In view of COVID-19 alerts various restrictive instructions issued concerned authorities from time to time. Hence additional precautions essential for the work shall be taken by the contractor by way of provisioning of masks, hand sanitizers, gloves etc to workmen and all local instructions issued by the Concerned Authorities and Station Authorities shall be complied with all relevant safety precautions covered under Model Rules for the protection of health and sanitary arrangement for workmen (Annexure ‘C’) of IAFW-2249) shall be strictly followed. Nothing extra is admissible on this account (n) The contractor shall also deploy additional man power as relief against weekly off,leave,holidays etc all as per existing Labour Act and shall substitute the operator accordingly for which no extra payment admissible. The unit rate quoted against items in Schedule ‘A’/BOQshall be inclusive of this provision also.
18(o) The contractor shall pay the wages to the operator through e-payment i.eAadhar linked bank accounts and Credit to their bank account. The wages shall not be less than prevailing minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more. (p) It is responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/operator/helper (as applicable) and necessary proof to this regard shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, he shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. (q) The contractor shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department.
19SCH "A" PART-II (MAINTENANCE OF AC PLANTS)
20M&L for dismantling electric motor of any make, 3 phase 415V of following capacity, opening the motor for rewinding using super enamelled copper wire of suitable gauge to match with the existing winding as per manufacturer design including varnishing & drying and re-assemblingthe motor, connecting with proper alignment and testing complete including transporting to workshop and back to site for rewinding complete all as specified and as directed.

33Taking out old unserviceablescroll compressor 7.5 TR capacity of Copeland Emerson Model No ZR190KCE TFD-522 from the unit after disconnecting electrical wiring and piping connections , nuts and bolts etc and Supply and fixing new scroll compressor 13 TR capacityand connecting pipe line for existing piping brazing and electric connection etc complete all as specified and as directed.
34M & L for disconnecting condenser for descaling & Plugging them & providing of 15 mm Tee out let for local circulation of mild acid solution in the condenser (separate container and small pump set to circulate diluted acid solution to be used) PH value of solution to be circulated & to be kept 4 and checking frequently i.e. every one hour during the operation Scalgun WS solution to be usedfor descaling purpose after 2 to 3 hours of cleaning if pH value remains less than 7 flush with fresh water mixed with sodium carbonate tubes and cleaning with nylon brush after closing the end covers, circulatingdiluted acid solution as specified above & PH value to be maintained as above & flushing the same with fresh water including recharging of stored refrigerant up to required pressure complete all as specified & as directed for the following :

38Pumping down the plant to preserve the existing refrigerant gas & leak testing chiller plant by charging of Nitrogen gas in to entire plant & monitoring for 24 hrs to find the leakages rectification of leak by brazing/ Capping leaked tubing & replacement of necessary gasket packing as wherever required including copper tubes of suitable size vacuumising of the plant by vacuum pump & keeping 24 hrs for testing including rectification of leakages if any finally recharging of existing refrigerant gas to the plant and and topping up of refrigerant if required to maintain the standard pressure complete testing of the plant for smooth functioning complete all as specified and as directed for the following:

61Taking down motor, blower fan assembly from cooling Tower of make Paharbur , removing unserviceable fins , & providing new PVC fins of size 4"x6" ,after cleaning of Louvers, drift eliminators fill surface by moderate pressure water nozzle to remove all surface impurities including removal of rust/scale, scrapping down the hard water deposited from bottom tray with chemical andpreparing the surfacesand painting with one coat of anticorrosive paint to match with existing colour, servicing of fan and motor assembly including removal of dust, oil, scale of motor body and replacing of unserviceable nozzle,bearings ,painting with anti corrosive paint, draining and filling of bearing housing with new SAE 20 grade mineral oil, greasing of bearing with IOCL mobilux etc ,& reassembling complete all as specified and as directed for the following cooling towers :

78Servicing and overhaulingof compressor 150 TR capacitycarrying out preventive work like oiling, replacement of defective parts & cleaning of filter,suction filter oil filter, piston, liner & reassembling compressors complete with vaccum test & pressure test at specified pressure to detect leak and again same tests after leak repair the whole system for any leakage using nitrogen by vaccumising the system and filling the system for pressurise nitrogen to rectify the leakage including nitrogen gas as required and charging the system with refrigerant and compressor oil after conformation of no leakage complete all as specified and as directed.

113Opening the LT Panel boardcubical type for DG set located in DG room,cleaning the Bus Duct chamber, inspect the complete panel, tighten the all incoming, outgoing ACBs/MCCB s/ SFU of different capacity, nuts, bolts, bus bar insulator and replace with new one if required and heating up for removal of moisture, record its IR value with the help of 1.1KV megger and applying thickcoating of Z931 strippex B andZ 955 Strippex (SL) of stanvac product for preventing from flush over and fire hazard, including replacement of 3mm thick gasket, closing of all holes and charging the same complete all as specified and as directed.

123Servicingof 320 KVA DG set of make Greaves Mode;l No 7 BD 2 V 12 MK II HP -396 ,by opening up the rocker and cover, adjusting the rocker arm tappet gap, removing & cleaning the inlet & outlet valves, replacement of tappet cover gaskets, checking & adjusting fuel injection timing, removing the diesel feed pipes, cleaning throughly & pressure testing, removing the oil sump of engine, cleaning& replacement of Engine Oil , oil filters, fuel fitters, replacement of inlet manifold gasket, draining out diesel from diesel storage tank completely, cleaning the tank & drying, outlet & over flow pipes from tank to engine. including replacement of spare parts as require etc complete all as specified and as directed. Notes- (i) Servicing of DG set has to be done by authorised service engineer of cummins only. (ii)Spare parts required shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply only" (iii) Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included removing and fixing spare parts.

145Labour only for Non Comprehensive Routine maintenance checkup of Fire alarm system"s error and alarms, necessary inspection of the Fire alarm system and take necessary corrected actions ,resolve any issues regarding the system and take corrective actions for the problems , check connectivity and communication at all terminations ,check all power sources and outlets used in the system complete for 12 Nos panels of Fire alarm system by authorised service engineer of OEM and furnish the report to Engineer-in-charge.
