| 1 | Excavation in foundations and trenches includingpipes and pits in all depths etc. in all lifts and in all kinds of soils such as pick work, jumper work, blasting in soft/ hard rock, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited)and saturated soils, stacking the excavated earthwithin all leads and lifts, clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers when required into plinths, sides of foundations and trenches etc., consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposingof all surplus excavated earth as directed by Engineer-in-charge within all leads and lifts including uprooting of trees, dressing of beds and sidesand preparation of sub-grade, restoration of unmetalled/ metalled/ paved surfaces to its original conditions(excluding cost of mettaling tarring and concreting )including shoring, strutting, timbering anddewatering , where ever required, providing diversion for traffic, fixingnight signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses complete in all repects and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. |

| 5 | Providing , laying , jointing and testing in trenches of MSERW Bevaled edge flanged/Butt welded pipes conforming to IS/ISO: 3183-2007grade L-210 or A of below mentioned grade in item as per dimentions weight and test pressure mentioned therein code( Mill Tolerances to be restricted with in 3%) in random length of4 to 7 mtr. includingthe cost of fabrication of bends by butt welding from perent tube as required at site. Only 1% joints shall be flanged joint and remaining shall be welded joints and welding of pipes will be done as per IS: 816-1969 with electrode as per 814-1991 of make Adwani/ Orelin (Adore)/ ESAH . The laying and jointing of pipes should confirm to IS: 5822-1994( Earth work in trenches, flanged joint and butt welded joints except in bends to be measured and paid for seperatly). The pipes and specials shall have out side wrapping with galvanised as per BIS: 4736. The galvanisation is done by the manufacturing firm it self complete in all repect.
