HORIZONTAL AUTOCLAVE: 1. It should be electrically operated. 2. The chamber size should beof approximately 600mm X 600mm X 1200mm. 3. It should have minimum sterilizer chamber capacity of 430litres. 4. It should have working pressure of 30 PSI. 5. Sterilization chamber and boiler material should be of S.S316 or higher grade steel 6. Sterilization door shall be hinge type with horizontal type opening and automaticpressure locking device for protection against accidental door open 7. It should have vaccum- breaker/ jacket airvalve to allow the filtered and sterile air to break the chamber vaccum and to help in quick drying. 8. It shouldhave safety valve for automatic air removal to obtain saturated steam. 9. It should have safety device againstexcess pressure. 10. It should have multi control valve to carry out all functions of sterilization cycle. 11. It shouldhave pressure guage to indicate chamber pressure. 12. It should have valves for water inlet and outlet 13. Itshould have glass tube to indicate water level in broiler 14. It should have magnetic level switch to protect heaterfrom low water level. GENERAL SPECIFICATION OF HORIZONTAL AUTOCLAVE 1. It should have EuropeanCE/USFDA/BIS certification. 2. Offer should have minimum 3 year comprehensive warranty supported by BankGuarantee (10% of P.O value of the main equipment). 3. Should quote separately for 4 years ComprehensiveAnnual Maintenance Contract after the warranty period. These charges shall include all costs of personnel andspares. Any exemption to inclusion like consumables should be specifically mentioned in the offer with their costsduring the CAMC period. CAMC will be necessarily included minimum for 4 preventive visits and any number ofbreakdown calls. 4. Should be able to demonstrate the model offered when called for by the administration beforefinalization of tender and installation should be at free of cost. 5. The instrument should be previously installed inminimum three other railway hospitals/ government institutions. 6. Inter-Se position of offers would be determinedbased on the sum of Cost of the Equipment, and charges, if any, towards consumables offered in the tender,during the Warranty period. 7.
