1	Upkeep of RWFP includes 1.1)Cleaning of machines and pump houses in RWFP and grass cutting in Raw Water Plant area. Cleaning of Channel to Reservoirs in RWFP from wild growth/ floating material & lifting/ disposal the same. Shifting of Materials like PAC drums etc. 1.2) Scrapping of Filter Media Sand / topping up of the same in the Filter beds.. 1.3) Removal of filter media (sand) and filling of the same in RWFP. 1.4) Cleaning of Clarifiers 2 nos. in RWFP and cleaning of sludge sump and water washing of the same. (Once in a year, Preferably in shut down or ATA) 1.5) Cleaning of Sludge sump and water washing of the same. One operation is equal to supply of one man day.
2	Upkeep of Cooling Towers includes 2.1) Shifting of material, Preparation of chemical solution, Cleaning of decks and channel strainers of CT-1 ,CT-2 and CT-3. 2.2) To take out filter media (sand) from side stream filters of CT-1 & CT-2 and screen & refill the same or new. Approx. Quantity- 55M3(Total five filters in a year) 2.3) Cleaning of Cooling Tower Basin, Channel, & Sump of CT-1,CT-2 including additional cells and CT-3 (each tower once in a Year preferably in Annual Shut Down). One operation is equal to supply of one man day.
3	DM Plant:- 3.1) Resin removal and refilling in the vessel in D.M. Plant (about 400 drums in a year). Maximum 32 operations shall be carried out per year. 3.2)Removal/Cleaning/Charging of Raschig Rings of Degasser Tower (Once in a year). Removal/Cleaning, screen and refill of activated charcoal in Carbon filters. (Once in a year). One operation is required to be executed per tower 3.3) Cleaning of Filter Water Reservoirs (2 no.). One operation is required per reservoir. 3.4) New acid effluent sump cleaning. One operation is required per sump cleaning.
4	ETP and FD area:- 4.1) Shifting and preparation of Urea Hydrolysis Nutrient dose, charging of chemicals, etc.(Daily). Total 52 operations required. 4.2) Cleaning of acid effluent sump, alkali waste sump, chemical sump. Total six operations are required. 4.3) Cleaning of old andnew urea hydrolysis tank. Total six operations are required. 4.4) Cleaning of Ammonia Stripper basin. Two operations are required. 4.5)Cleaning of Ammonia Fix Liquor tank, Factory sewerage sump, Primary Clarifier and Final Clarifier. Total seven operations are required. 4.6) Cleaning ofsludge settling pit. Total five operations are required. 4.7) Removal of suspended/ floating material etc. from storm water drain trap near ETP as and when required. Maximum 24 operations shall be carried out per year. 4.8) Pumping of outside stagnant water in treated water ponds & its disposal on occasional basis in FD Area. One operation required daily. 4.9) Cleaning of dewatering pumps wells and strainers in FD area. Seven operations are required.
5	General jobs:- 5.1) Cleaning of machines, equipments, drains including spillage of oil in Instrument Air Compressor House, DM Plant, E.T.P. and Cooling Towers. 5.2) Greasing of Bearing Housings of Various Pumps and Compressors in all sections. Weekly rounds against the supply of minimum seven man days daily.
6	Manpower requirement to meet exigency and for annual shutdown for different jobs in O&U Group of plants.
