17Capping and covering the grout holes at dam top (after the drilling and grouting work is over) using M15 grade of concrete along with water proofing admixture to prevent ingress of rain water, to the desired depth as per the site condition and as directed by the Project Manager.
18TREATMENT OF CONTRACTION JOINTS IN DAM BODY
19Drilling of 125 – 150 mm dia. hole along the Dam body joint at certain distance u/s of the drain hole of the water stop arrangement of dam joint, ensuring that both dam blocks across the joint are cut equally all through the depth and the hole is taken atleast 2 m in to the foundation rock. The hole is to be filled with hydrophilic polyurethane material and sealed at the dam top, including drilling charges, cost of materials & admixtures, scaffolding, labour charges etc. as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The cores, from 2 m depth from dam top and 2 m depth above dam foundation are to be preserved for verification that the dam body joint has been cut all along the depth and stored in core boxes.

21REAMING OF FORMED / POROUS DRAINS AND REAMING/ RE-DRILLING OF FOUNDATION DRAINAGE HOLES
22Reaming of porous drains: Reaming of porous drain holes of sizes 200mm diameter from dam top to crown of foundation gallery or vice versa, using contractors own diamond drill apparatus in concrete/masonry/rock driven by diesel motor with single tube, flexible rod, if necessary, including all incidental charges, cost of spares/materials, hire charges, conveyance of diamond drilling machine with diesel engine and other accessories etc. complete as places pointed out by the engineer in charge.
23Reaming of foundation drainage holes: Reaming of existing vertical/inclined drainage holes of 75mm diameter inside the gallery by suitable reaming method from drainage gallery floor to drainage hole bottom inclusive of all machineries, equipment’s, consumables, other materials required for the work and also labour charges for operation, cleaning the drainage holes etc. transportation charges for machinery and shifting the same to different location etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
24Providing high strength concrete in apron downstream of spillway bucket
25Demolishing concrete manually/ by mechanical means and disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer -in- charge.
26Providing and laying of high strength concrete 50 cm thick, M60 grade, as per specification, proper compaction curing with all lead and lift, ensuring adequate mix design and Quality Control for testing as IS standards & technical specifications, complete finished items including supply of all the materials labour, T& P etc., required for proper completion of work.
27Drilling holes for rock anchors using jack hammer / wagon drill of required diameter of 32 mm dia. anchors up to 5 m depth in foundation rock in apron area, including grouting of holes with cement for proper anchorage of anchor bars as per drawing & technical specifications or as directed by Engineer-in-charge including supply of all material, labour, T&P etc. required for proper completion of work.
