Providing and erecting a \"W\" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150x75x5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanized by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 810 of MORT&H specification.

Pdg. & fixing The Guard rail reflector (KGSR) shall be made of ABS Plastic body of size of 115mm x 80mm x 20mm. Each KGSR will be electronically welded with Polycarbonate Prismatic Reflector of lens area of minimum 20 sq. cms on both sides for maximum reflection. The KGSR along with its lenses should be coated with abrasion resistant coating. The pencil Hardness should be minimum 3H as per A.S.T.M.-D-3363. The KGSR should be tested from a reputed laboratory for all testing standard namely A.S.T.M.-D-3363, ASTM-D-4280, EN-1463 and AS/NZS 1903.2017 Part-2 etc. The KGSR of Red Body with both side red reflector shall be place on edge side Guard rail of carriage way & KGSR of Yellow Body with red & Yellow reflector shall be place on “W” Guard Rail of carriage way at distance of 2 metres each side on Guard rail.
