Hardware fittings for 11KV 45 KN Polymeric Disc Insulator Tongue & Clevistype having clevis ended aluminium alloy clamp suitable for ACSR Raccoon conductor having an accommodation up to 100mm2. The ultimate strength of clamps shall not be less than 3000 Kgs. The fittings shall conform to IS:2486 part I /Pt.II/Pt.III/ Part.IV with the latest amendments thereof . Aluminium alloy tension clamp shall be consisting of one Aluminium alloy keeper, two galvanised iron U bolts and 4 Nos. Galvanised iron spring washers of 12mm dia suitable for ACSR conductor . One forged steel cotter pin with one galvanised plate washer of size not less than 2mm thick and one phosphor bronze / brass split pin for inter connecting the tension clamp. All ferrous part to be hot dip galvanised as per ISS 2633 /1972.
