| 1 | H-62: Approx 15 inch crack observed on top weld seam of port main engine exhaust bell mouth, crack to be repaired / welded (mat: Al) in association with class surveyor. Scope of job / in way job involves following:\n (a) Removal and re-fitment of heat resistant lagging of affected area. \n (b) Removal and renewal of 03 nos brackets on bell mouth\n (c) Welding to be undertaken in association with class surveyor\n (d) Listing of Ship towards Stbd side during course of repair by adding the additional weight at foxle and quarter deck to substantiate feasibility of welding .\n (e) Welding to be undertaken by certified welder followed by QAP and class approved material. All safety measures to be adhered to avoid sea water ingress whilst carry out repair.\n (f) Welding to be proved by die penetration and hose test.\n (g) Tightening of port bell mouth exhaust valve flange fasteners.\n (h) Prospective bidders are advised to carry out physical inspection of bell mouth to fully understand the scope / extent of works | Item No1 | 1 | Nos |
