Labour only for totally cleaning the top surface with steel wire brushes and finally fanning with compressed air to making the surface free fromall loose materials i.e dirt/dust etc. to entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge, and applying cold polymeric bitumen emulsion (PME) mopping of total cold liquid PME (minimum 1.0 to 2.0 litres per sqm for two coats after dilution with 50% water), each coat diluted in the ratio of 1:1 (PME: WATER) and ensure uniform finish of runway complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.\nNotes: The tenderer shall take into consideration for the following points while quoting his rates for the item:-\n(a) Cold polymeric bitumen emulsion (PME) consumed under this item shall be measured and paid as supply only under srl item No. 03 here in after. (b) Consumptuon of the PME as specified in clasue 5.13.3.3(c) is to be approved by BOO convened by Accepting officer before commencement of the work for different area pocket of the runway.\n(c) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicator of the manufacturer only.\n(d) Care shall be taken to fill wider gaps/cracks with 0.6mm to 2.36mm size coarse sand as per manufacturer's instructions.

M&L for repair to cracks of width 2 to 8mm in flexible surfaces by cleaning of all cracks with air compressor and make it free from dust and applying evenly blown hot bitumen of grade 85/25 in two coats with necessary interval to ensure complete filling/ total filling of the gap in line with existing pavement, finally dry coarse sand mixed with cement in 1:1 ratio sprinkled on top complete ensure uniform finish all as per manufacturers instruction and all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Before start the work all cracks to be measurted in presence of Engr-in-Charge. \n\n
