| 2 | Description :Gold Plated Silver Medal with silver purity of 99.9% embossed with I.R. logo on one side and\rCentral Railway logo on the other side as per specification No.3MP/GPSM/2007 (copy enclosed). The medal\rshall be displayed on two chrome plated pillars. Other details as per drawing. 1] The medal with chrome plated\rpillars should be kept in a closed plastic box containing the medal should be removable one for further cleaning of\rthe box and the medal. 2] The fitting of the medal in the box may be placed in proper direction. 3] The colour of the\rsilver medal should not be blackened due to passage of the time. 4] The satin cloth which is used as base where\rthe gold plated medal is fixed in the plastic box should be red colour. 5] Thickness of gold plating on silver medal\rminimum 0.5 micron. 6] Inspection of silver grade to be done as per IS 2112: 2003 and gold electroplating as per\rIS 3266: 1982 7] Tolerance, wherever not indicated shall be as per IS: 2102 Part I and Part II (Medium tolerance).\r8] PVC is applicable as defined in the tender document. | |||||||||
