Tender For Mechanized Handling Of Refractory Material At Refractory Store -MECHANISED HANDLING OF REFRACTORY MATERIALS IN REFRACTORY STORE: (A) ONE HYDRA CRANE OF MIN. 12 TON CAPACITY WITH ONE OPERATOR AND TWO ASSISTANTS (B) TWO FORKLIFTS (capacity minimum 3 Tons) WITH TWO OPERATORS AND FOUR ASSISTANTS. THE FORKLIFT SHOULD BE SUITABLE FOR OPERATION AND HANDLING OF MATERIALS WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THE CONTAINERS AND THE PLATFORM AT THE REFRACTORY STORE, A) LOADING OF MATERIALS INTO TRUCKS, TRAILORS, CONTAINERS etc. BY TAKINGOUT FROM THE STORAGE LOCATION AT ANY PLACE IN THE GODOWN AND YARD. B) UNLOADING OF MATERIAL INCLUDES UNLOADING FROM TRUCKS, TRAILORS OR CONTAINERS AND MATERIAL TO BE KEPT AT THE DIRECTED LOCATION BY PROPER STACKING. C) SHIFTING OR RE-ARRANGING REQUIRED IN THE PROCESS HAS TO BE DONE AS NECESSARY AND, D) MISCELLANEOUS SMALL QUANTITY ITEMS (WHICH ARE USUALLY A SMALL PART COMPARED TO PALLETS LOADED IN THE TRUCK) LIKE SMALL BAGS, PACKETS, DRUMS ETC. TO BE UNLOADED/LOADED BY THE CONTRACTOR AND NO PAYMENT TO BE CALCULATED FOR THESES SMALL QTY. ITEMS/ MATERIALS FOR BILLING. ANY OTHER MISCELLANEOUS HANDLING JOBS REQUIRED SHALL BE DONE BY THE CONTRACTOR AS DIRECTED. E) SPACE MANAGEMENT : The Contractor shall also carry out jobs like stacking, shifting, arranging, re-arranging of packages / LOOSE MATERIALS required for effective space management. The Contractor may note that effective space management IS A REGULAR JOB for which no extra payment will be made. The un-loading / loading / space management job to be done to the satisfaction of the Stores in charge.F) The contractor is also responsible for keeping the storage location clean from dust, garbage and other such polluting material from the site. They shall diligently clear the storage space regularly for safety and cleanliness. The Contractor should note that he has to regularly allot resources for this job as the storage area shall be frequented by trucks, trailors, containers and other equipments, etc.
