tender for Consulting Services For Comprehensive Traffic And Transport Study And Formulation Of Traffic Management Plan ( Tmp ) For The Udaipur Urban Area ., scope of work :- , consultancy services are being hired for following broad scope to confirm scope for short term , medium term and long-term targets . the firm will collect data and analyse urban transport environment such as a ) review the city profile , b ) collect data and review urban transport system , c ) traffic surveys and inventories , d ) parking survey , e ) origin destination survey , f ) traffic congestion points survey ( speed & delay ) , g ) mass transit and passengers survey , h ) terminal area survey , i ) pedestrian survey , j ) road inventory k ) improvement of delhi gate junction/choraya for traffic point of view & l ) topographic surveys at key sections/junctions . based on various survey and studies the firm will develop base year transport demand , analysis of traffic characteristics to prepare and evaluate urban transport development strategy and to develop urban mobility plans . the scope not limited to items mentioned above . , the selected firm will also be responsible for future planning of following::- i ) public transport improvement plan , ii ) road network development , iii ) arterial road constructions/widening of existing road projects & improvement and re-design of existing junctions , iv ) secondary road constructions/widening projects , v ) flyover projects , vi ) railway over bridge or underpass projects , vii ) road under bridge ( rub ) or road over bridge , viii ) pedestrian flyover , ix ) non-motorized transport facilities , x ) pedestrians facilities , xi ) traffic control measures , xii ) parking facilities , xiii ) traffic safety plan , xiv ) regulatory and institutional measures , xiv ) vehicle emission ( focus on non fuel based vehicles and compressed natural gas vehicles , xv ) public private partnership , xvi ) prepare implementation programme , xvii ) identification of implementation agencies & xviii ) project profile sheets for short term projects and holding workshops at the stage of interim report and draft final report to develop a working relationship .
