13	1.12	Replacement of Gearbox/Motors in Pollution Control :\nThe required site arrangements shall be done for the replacement of gearbox/motor at pollution control area.Arrangement of necessary tools and tackles for the work shall be done. Coupling guard/chain guards shall be removed.The gearbox/motor shall be decoupled.Foundation bolts of the existing gearbox/motor shall be loosened / removed and lead / transport the damaged gearbox/motor to mechanical/electrical work shop. Collect the new / spare gearbox/motor from mechanical/electrical workshop and shall be transported to site. The gearbox/motor shall be kept in position and insert the foundation bolts, after cleaning the base plate.Check and correct the alignment of the gearbox/motor at the drive side and driven side (for gearbox) .Jackbolts,foundation bolts,base plates etc. shall be adjusted/modified according to site condition. Jack bolts/foundation bolts if damaged shall be replaced. Full tighten the foundation bolts. Couple the gearbox/motor after inspection of alignment by engineer in charge.
