Laying of pipe line inside the tunnels for which taking delivery of free issue of pipes in standard length, supports / valves and pipe fittings loading / unloading, transportation of same from stores / workshop to tunnel / construction opening, safe barrication of tunnel construction opening fabrication & erection of lifting / lowering arrangement / device, pipe line support / valve & pipe fitting, shifting of the same inside the tunnel at the working spot and revisioning & testing of valves, erection , laying, installation of various pipe lines along with its fittings including supports, fabrication of bend, tees, reducers, compensator etc., levelling alignment welding including initial & final testing painting of one coat primer, commissioning as per drawing / specification and removing & dismantling lifting / lowering device and barrication with safety as directed by engineer incharge. paint / primer / pcm will be supplied by bsp at free of cost. service technological pipelies. above dia 200 mm & upto dia 500mm Laying of pipe lines above dia.200mm and below dia.500mm :-Laying of pipe lines above dia.200mm and below dia.500mm :- Furnace clean water main line dia.250mm x 50mtrs = 3012.5kg = 3.012MT, say 3MT x 2 (for 2 years) = 6MT 2. Dismantling of various water pressure pipe lines ( upto 10 kg / cm2) inside tunnels, barrication of tunnel / construction opening with safety and fabrication, erection of lifting / lowering arrangement / device for handling of pipes, supports / valves, pipe fittings and shifting of the same from site of work to tunnel opening / construction opening in pieces / sections, taking out dismantledmaterial from tunnel and stacking the same within a distance of 100m from the tunnel opening (necessary cutting of dismantled materials should be done by contractor at his own cost) as per directives of engineer incharge. Dismantling of pipe lines above dia.200mm and below dia.500mm :- Furnace clean water main line dia.250mm x 50mtrs = 3012.5kg = 3.012MT, say 3MT x 2 (for 2 years) = 6MT 3. Taking delivery of free issue of straight pipes in standard length, loading/unloading, transportation from shop stores, fabrication of sector bends of various sizes as per drawing /specification or as directed by engineer in charge.upto & including dia 150 mm. Fabrication of reducers, bends up to dia.150mm at various location - 50 nos. x 2 years = 100 nos. 4. Taking delivery of free issue of straight pipes in standard length, loading/unloading, transportation from shop stores, fabrication of sector bends of various sizes as per drawing /specification or as directed by engineer in charge.above dia 150 mm & upto dia 300mm Fabrication of reducers, bends above dia. 150mm up to dia.300mm at various location of Plate Mill - 30 nos. x 2 years = 60 nos. 5. Dismantling of valves by way of supporting the pipes / scaffolding, removing of valves, overhauling, revisioning, cleaning, replacing defective parts, rectification/modification if any renewal of jointings and glands, fixing in position, securing the drive system, limit setting, including its enabling and associated jobs, blanking / deblanking for isolation & defect attending during commissioning tothe entire satisfaction of engineer -in-charge (spare part required for replacement shall be supplied by project free).upto & including dia 100mm Revisioning of valves up to dia.100mm at roll table cooling line-qty. = 20 nos., R.H.furnace - qty. = 10 nos. and Motor room basement-qty. = 20 nos. Hence total qty. = 50 nos. x 2 years = 100 nos. 6. Dismantling of valves by way of supporting the pipes / scaffolding, removing of valves, overhauling, revisioning, cleaning, replacing defective parts, rectification/modification if any renewal of jointings and glands, fixing in position, securing the drive system, limit setting, including its enabling and associated jobs, blanking / deblanking for isolation & defect attending during commissioning to the entire satisfaction of engineer -in-charge (spare part required for replacement shall be supplied by bsp free).above dia 100 mm & upto dia 200 mm Revisioning of valves above dia.100mm & upto dia.200mm at water line in the trench - qty.= 10 nos.,in the tunnel - qty.= 10 nos. and motor room basement-qty.= 5 nos. Taking delivery of free issue of pipes in standard length, supports/ valves and pipe fittings loading/unloading, transportation from stores/workshop,revisioning & testing of valves,erection, laying installation, of various pipelines alongwith its fittings including supports, fabrication of bends, tees, reducers, compensators etc. installation, levelling, alignment welding,including initial & final testing & painting with one coat primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint commissioning as perdrawing/specification and or as directed by engineer -in-charge. (steam pipelines are required to be welded with quality ibr tested welders). paint shall be supplied by bsp free.above dia 100 mm and upto dia 200 mm Replacement of technological pipes upto & including dia.200mm water tunnel :- Dia.100mm - 100mtrs x 12.1kg = 1210kg Dia.150mm - 100mtrs x 16.8kg = 1680kg Total wt.= 2890kg, say 2.9MT x 2 years = 5.8MT 8. Dismantling of various pressure pipe lines(upto 10 kg/cm2) with supports/valves and pipe fittings etc. including handling and stacking, cutting into pieces and sections as directed by engineerin- charge and transportation of dismantled materials.within shop premises. Dismantling of technological pipes upto & including dia.200mm water tunnel :- Dia.100mm - 100mtrs x 12.1kg = 1210kg Dia.150mm - 100mtrs x 16.8kg = 1680kg Total wt.= 2890kg, say 2.9MT x 2 years = 5.8MT. 9. Taking delivery of free issue of pipes in standard length, valves and other pipe fittings, supports etc.loading/unloading, transportation from shop stores, fabrication of tees, reducers, bends, compensators, dismantling of high pressure (above 100 kg/sq.cm), water pipelines and replacement, rectification / modification, levelling, alignment, welding, testing & commissioning of pipelines as per drgs./ specification, disposal of dismantled materials at well identified locations or as directed by engineer-in-charge. The job involves replacement of high pressuredescaling pipes (above 100kg/sqcm) 10. Centralised oil lubrication/hydraulic system taking delivery of free issue items of centralized oil lubrication and hydraulic system including pipes in standard length,valves,pipe fitting supports,pump equipments etc. from shop stores, loading / unloading, transportation, fabrication of smooth bends,revisioning and testing of valves, mechanical testing & testing of pipes lines,flushing & pickling with acid, installation levelling, alignment, welding, erection testing & commissioning as per drawing /specification or as directed by engineer-in-charge ( acid for pickling shall be issued by bsp free.) revisioning/changing of filters : dismantling of filter, cleaning all the elements of filters with the solvant,change damaged elements, testing and installation. 11. End suction pump preventive maintenance hydraulic isolation of pump by closing of valves, decoupling of pump and motor replacement of gland packing oil/grease coupling rubber bushes and bolts, coupling and testing of pump on load and necessary rectification. oil and grease, coupling bushes and bolts and gland rope will be issued at shop store. eot crane/ telpher/chain pulley block of pump house can be used for handling purpose. Preventive maint. of end suction pumps at reheating furnace, oil cellers, hyd. cellers etc. Total qty - 25 nos. x 2 years = 50 nos. 12. Preventive maintenance / overhauling of portable dewatering pumps : preventive maintenance / overhauling of portable dewatering pumps (diesel, electric, submersible upto capacity 7.5 hp) by replacement of gland packing, grease, impeller, coupling bushes / bolts. cleaning of impeller, volute casing and strainer. repair / replacement of filters, oil pipes, fuel pipes, self - priming nrv unit. checking of trolley foundation bolts, tightening and replacement as directed by engineer in charge. all spares, consumables, lifting and other tools & tackles will be supplied by bsp free of cost. Overhauling of portable dewatering pump - 25 nos. x 2 years = 50 nos. 13. Cleaning and rectification of roll table cooling headers at various location. job involves: removal of apron plates and side guards for making approach, removal of cooling headers, opening blanks at both ends and cleaning the pipe properly. fix back the blanks at both ends. 14. Changing of hydraulic cylinder of cooling beds/inspecion beds/transfer beds:- job involves shifting of new tested cylinder from hydraulic repair shop to the location of change. remove grease hydraulic pipe lines of cylinder pin, pedestal and ports. remove cylinder eye pin by jacking or by wedging. open pedestal bolts and remove cylinder with the help of chain pulley/ crane. remove pedestals from old cylinder and fix the new cylinder. fix back new cylinder, insert pin and tighten pedestal bolts, lock pin and pedestal bolts. provide grease and hydraulic connections to cylinder. take trial after removing all materials. eliminate leakages (if any). shift the old cylinder to hydraulic repair shop. all tools, tackles like jacks, slings, chain pulley etc. and cutting , welding set and consumables required for this job, shall be provided by contractor. oil and grease will be supplied by bsp . (eot crane if required will be supplied by bsp free) per cylinder Changing of pneumatic cylinders. Qty. = 10 nos. x 2 years = 20 nos. 15. Centralised oil lubrication/hydraulic system taking delivery of free issue items of centralized oil lubrication and hydraulic system including pipes in standard length,valves,pipe fitting supports,pump equipments etc. from shop stores, loadingunloading, transportation, fabrication of smooth bends,revisioning and testing of valves, mechanical testing & testing of pipes lines,flushing & pickling with acid, installation levelling, alignment, welding, erection testing & commissioning as per drawing /specification or as directed by engineer-in-charge ( acid for pickling shall be issued by bsp free.) hydraulic / peneumatic cyclinder overhauling. job includes cleaning, dismantling, rectification / replacement of damged / wornout parts, changing seals, assmebly of the cylinder. (new parts will be su.cylinder above dia 200mm and upto 400mm. Overhauling of pneumatic cylinders.
