3 1.02 Mobilization and Demobilization:\nMobilization of all equipment machinery, crafts including all type of dredgers and ancillary crafts commensuration with the method statement to carry out all the works as per the scope of work within the time specified and demobilize all the equipment brought after completion of the respective works with the prior approval of the “Engineer or Employer’s personnel” in charge including cost of all, labour, fuel, consumables, transportation etc. complete.\nNOTE: \n(i) The contractors along with their technical offer shall furnish the list of equipment, machineries, dredgers and other ancillary craft along with their tentative schedule for mobilization and demobilization of the equipment’s, machinery, floating crafts including the Dredgers. Notwithstanding the fact as to whether the list contains all the equipment/machinery/crafts/dredger or not. It is the responsibility of the contractor to mobilize additional equipment, machineries, crafts, dredgers, etc. without claiming any extra cost for proper completion of the work proper within the specified time.\n(ii) The total mobilization and demobilization charges shall not be more than the limit prescribed in clause.26 of section IV.\n(iii) 75% of the total lump sum rate quoted for the item shall be released only after mobilization of respective type of dredgers proposed to be deployed for the work in good working condition as per their work methodology statement and upon completion of at least 5% of the total dredging quantity as detailed in clause.26 of section IV (without correlating to mobilization of machinery or equipment) and balance 25% of the quoted rate shall be released only after demobilization of all the equipment/machinery/crafts/dredgers and other ancillary crafts.\n(iv) The rate shall include all duties, taxes (excluding GST) and all other charges/expenditure etc. complete in all respects.\n BI01010001010000000000000515BI0100001114 1 LS
4 1.03 Capital dredging:\nDeploying required type of dredgers (TSHD/CSD/Backhoe or other suitable machineries/crafts etc) as per the work methodology proposed by the tenderer subject to approval of Engineer and carrying out capital dredging in all type of soil including sand, silt, clay, boulders etc., as existing at site of work from the existing sea bed level to\n(i) (-) 18.0 m CD alongside SIOTL Jetty and adjoining area,\n(ii) (-) 18.5 m CD in the SIOTL approach area and in front of the proposed dock basin.\n(iii) (-)24.0 m CD in the Sand trap area near inner channel (the dredged level can be increased upto -25.0 m CD to suite the site condition and as per the direction of the Engineer),\n(iv) (-)25.0 m CD Sand trap outer channel\nto the required width all as shown in the drawing No KPL-NTCPWC-CD-PHIV-A-043-2019-001 and as detailed in the condition of contract/specification including disposing/dumping the dredged materials evenly in the locations specified in the drawing No:KPL- NTCPWC - CD-PH-IV-A-043-2019-003.
