    Expression Of Interest For Cleaning Of Petroleum Storage Tanks At Various Depots And Terminals Of Hpcl In India- Shall Carry Out Degassing Of Tank By Providing Flameproof Ventilation/Educator System Consisting Of Exhaust Fan With All Aluminium Fittings On Manhole For Vapour Removal For 1 Or 2 Days Before Starting The Actual Cleaning Work.2)Shall Ensure That The Vapour Contents Within Tank Are Zero Which Will Be Checked By Explosive Meter Jointly With Location’S Safety Or Designated Officer. Explosive Meter Readings Must Be Zero Before Commencement Of Actual Tank Cleaning Work.3)Cleaning Of Tank Shall Be Carried Out By Using Flame Proof 300 Bar Water Jetting Machines For De Sludging And Cleaning Of Tank Shell And Roof (In Case Of Floating Roof Tank) From Inside And Bottom Plates. The Internal Shells Upto 1.5 Meter Height Inside The Tank Shall Be Cleaned.4)Clean The Whole Area Around The Tank And Residue Collection Area Including The Path Of Transportation By Removing All Residue, Cotton Waste, Oil Etc To The Satisfaction Of Eic/Incharge.5)Consumables Like Additives, Diluents For Liquefying The Sludge, Cotton Waste, Hand Gloves, Scrappers, Rubber Mop, Shovels, Spades, Axe, Buckets Etc. Shall Be Arranged By Contractor.6)After Cleaning And Inspection Of Tank, All Equipments On Site Will Be Decontaminated For Off-Site Removal. Once Cleared By Eic, Contractor Will Demobilize Their Equipments After Making Necessary Gate Passes.7)Party Has To Ensure That Only Water Goes Through Main Drain And No Sludge Gets Into The Drain. Removal Of Sludge Using Metallic Brushes And Other Scrubbers Shall Not Be Allowed.8)All The Hoses Used In Hydro-Jetting And Cleaning Activity Shall Be Compatible In Petroleum Class, With Proper Electrical Continuity.
