    Tender Details

    Tender For Ht Coupler Handling During Shifting Of Yard Equipment At Obbp- 1.Obtain Permit To Work Before Starting The Job From Site I/C (E) For Both Couplers I.E. For The Coupler To Be De-Coupled And For The Coupler To Be Coupled. 2.Ensure Use Of Proper Ppe During Execution Of The Job. 3.Double Check That The Power Is Off At The Equipment End By Observing The Transformer For No Humming Sound And No Light Is Glowing. 4.Decouple The Ht Coupler By Opening The Coupling Bolts. 5.Discharging The Contact Points Of Both The Half Coupler By Discharging Rod. 6.Clean The Contact Points & Epoxy Housing Of Both The Half Couplers With The Help Of Blower, Sand Papers, Electrical Cleaning Agent And Markin Cloth. 7.Covering Of Fixed Half Coupler By Tightening The Bolts Of End Plate 8.Cleaning Of Insulation Covering Near Termination Of Half Coupler. 9.Lifting Of Equipments Half Coupler And Positioning On Coupler Stand In The Equipment With Connected Ht Cable. 10.Repeat The Step 7 For Other Fixed Half Coupler Where The Coupling Is To Be Done. 11.Start Heating The Half Coupler. 12.After Shifting Of Yard Equipment From One Yard To Another , Lowering Of Equipment Half Coupler To Coupler Stand Of The Fixed Half Coupler Where Coupling Is To Be Done. 13. Heat The Half Coupler Fixed To The Equipment. 14. Measure The Ir Value Of Both The Half Coupler To Be Coupled. Heating Is To Be Continued Till Proper Ir Value Is Reached As Per Site I/C. 15. Couple Both The Couplers And Again Measure The Ir Value Of The Total System From Ht Panel End After Removal Of Earthing. Ir Value To Be Recorded. 16. Clamping Of Ht Cable And Tying Of Clamp With Chain. 17. Clearance To Be Given To Site I/C(E) For Charging Of Ht Coupler. 18. Both The Shut Down Papers Are To Be Handed Over To Site I/C.
