    Tender For Pavering Work-Tank Farm - Supply And Filling River Sand Conforming To Is:383 Under Sleepers, Pedestals, Footings, Etc Or As Directed By Eic, Arranged From Borrow Area /Pit Outside Premises Including All Excavation, Transportation, Labour Etc. At The Borrow Pit Location, Filling In Hpcl Premises In Loose Layers Not Exceeding 200 Mm And Compacting With Vibro Compactor / Plate Vibrator So As To Achieve 85% Of Relative Density (By Sand Replacement Method) Or 93% Mdd By Proctor Method Including Dressing Up The Surface, Breaking Clods, Removal Of Slush And Water, Watering Re-Handling At Site And Job Shall Be Carried Out As Per Attached Technical Specifications And As Per Directions Of Eic All Complete. The Quoted Rate Shall Include Conducting Initial Laboratory Tests On Samples And Consequent In-Situ Relative Density Test As Per Is:2720 Part- Xiv/Omc Tests At 50 Sqm Of Area In Each Layer Of Filling (Moisture Content Of Sand Shall Be Kept Below 8%). The Initial Filling Should Start Only After Stripping The Area From Bushes, Grass And Other Vegetation. No Separate Payment Will Be Made For Clearing Bushes, Vegetation And Other Materials. The Measurement For Payment Shall Be For Theoretical Volume Only Based On Initial And Final Levels Jointly Recorded Job To Be Completed As Per Attached Technical Specification And As Directed By Hpcl Eic Complete. Sand Shall Conform To Zone-2 Or Zone - 3 Etc..
