    Tender For AUTOMATIC SMOKE/ FIRE DETECTION WITH ALARM SYSTEM FOR ALL TYPES OF LHBAC COACHES TO RDSO SPECN No. RDSO/2008/CG-04, Rev-04 AMENDMENT NO.1.(SYSTEM FORSTAND ALONE COACH CLAUSE-2.4 OF SECTION-A AND WITHOUT BRAKE APPLICATION SYSTEM)NOTE 1) SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING & MAINTENANCE REQUIRED AS PER SPECN &ANNEXURE-A TO BE FOLLOWED. 2) SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING RATES TO BEQUOTED SEPARATELY.SPECIAL CONDITION: a) THE SYSTEM SHALL BE DESIGNED FOR SINGLELEVEL ALARM. THE SMOKE THRESHOLD SETTINGS FOR AC COACHES SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS: FLASHER LIGHT AND AUDIO VISUAL ALARM (HOOTER-FLASH LIGHT) CAN BE ACTIVATED INAFFECTED COACH WITH THRESHOLD OF 0.6% obs/m AND WITH DELAY PERIOD OF 30 SECONDS.b)THE SENSITIVITY OF DETECTED SMOKE LEVEL AT VERY EARLY STAGE SHALL NOT BE MORETHAN 0.05% obs/m AS PER EN 54-20. FIRM SHALL SUBMIT REQUIRED TEST CERTIFICATE FOR THESAME. c) THE ASPIRATION TYPE AUTOMATIC SMOKE/FIRE DETECTION WITH ALARM SYSTEM FORVERY EARLY WARNING OF SMOKE/FIRE INCIDENTS SHALL BE CERTIFIED AS PER EN 54-20.TENDERER SHALL SUBMIT ALL DOCUMENTS AS PER RDSO SPECIFICATION ALONG WITH THEOFFER.
