tender for cleaning of drains, culverts etc. for a, b and c- zone of d.p.l. township.- 1 earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or tacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. the item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete; depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm. 2 supplying & spraying of mosquito oil including hire charges of spray machine complete as per direction of the engineer-in-charge. the cost includes all charges for spray machine, labour, fuel and maintenance charges of the machines, all cost of raw materials / consumable / tools & plants. 3 cleaning and removing conservancy garbage mixed with rubbish & other filthy materials from the road side flank, drain and compound including cutting, loading, unloading to and from truck or cart by mathor labour & removing the same to any distance. 4 carriage of earth, sand, moorum and similar materials over pucca road. 5 cutting of jungles / wild growths by brush cutters / manually including cutting grass jungles, shrubs, plants up to 10 cm dia., and trimming of branches up to boundary wall height for clear view of the walls as directed. cutting must be done at the top surface of the ground, i.e. maximum of 5 cm from ground level. the cut refuse must be collected and disposed off at suitable locations as directed. the cost includes all charges for brush cutters, labour, fuel and maintenance charges of brush cutters, collection, transportation and disposal of the refuse. all cutting and disposal charges are included in the scope and unless the contractor removes the cut refuse within stipulated period, no payment will be made for the work done and further work may be stopped and the dept. will not be held responsible for stoppage of the work and the idle labour/machinery on this issue.
