bids are invited for custom bid for services - construction of wbm road from ash pond-c to weighbridge at ash pond-b at opgc ash pond unit 1&2.; 1 clearing grass and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area with all cost of transportation, safety, tools & tackles, statutory, ppe etc. 2 earth work in excavation up to 1.5m depth in gravelly soil including dressing & levelling the bed and depositing the excavated materials within 50m initial lead & 1.5m initial lift with all cost, conveyance, tools and plants, labour, complete as per the direction of engineer-in-charge. 3 excavation of any approved type of soil in approved borrow area by mechanical means loading into and transportation by mechanical means and unloading the soil within lead of 3 km on properly prepared and approved surface including spreading and leveling the earth, watering and lighting of haul road and borrow area and finishing it with required slope including all cost of materials, royalty etc. complete as per the direction of engineer-in-charge. (earth is to be arranged by the agency at his own risk and cost) 4 earthwork in back filling of foundation / pits / trenches / etc including dressing and levelling with excavated earth within initial lead of 50 metres with all costs, conveyance, t&p, labour complete as per the direction of engineer-in-charge. 5 watering earthwork up to omc condition and compaction by 10-12 ton vibro rollers and dozer in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm to 95% dry density including hire and running charges of all the machineries complete as per direction of engineer-in-charge. (measurement to be taken on the finished compacted section of the fill under omc condition.) 6 cement concrete (1:3:6) using 12 to 20mm graded hard granite crusher broken chips including all cost, hoisting and laying of concrete, watering, curing, conveyance, t&p, royalties, taxes of all materials, required for the work. scaffolding and labour charges etc complete as per direction of engineer-in-charge, reinforcement rod and centring and shuttering will be paid separately. 7 reinforced cement concrete (1:1.5:3) for all type of work in ground floor using 12 to 20mm graded hard granite crusher broken chips including all cost, hoisting and laying of concrete, watering, curing, conveyance, t&p, royalties, taxes of all materials required for the work, scaffolding and labour charges etc complete as per the direction of engineer-in-charge. reinforcement rod and centring and shuttering will be paid separately. 8 providing and fixing strong, rigid, smooth, levelled, and plumbed centring and shuttering (form work) including dismantling the same after the required intervals from the date of casting including cost of all materials, labour, conveyance, loading and unloading, taxes, royalties, scaffolding, sundries, t&p, etc complete as per the direction of the engineer-in-charge. 9 collecting, stacking and conveying from stack and spreading moorum sub-base in layers not exceeding 100mm watering and compacting to the required density in o.m.c with prr including cost and conveyance of sub base materials including all cost and conveyance of moorum, watering, t&p, labour etc all complete as per the direction of engineer-in-charge. 10 providing, laying and fixing in position cement concrete pipes of internal dia 600mm np-3, conforming to is:458 and laying as per is: 783 (excluding cost of excavation/cutting trench, backfilling the trench with specified material & rcc encasement to be measured & paid separately), placing the pipe in position, jointing pipes, transportation, labour, materials, equipments, all leads and lifts, dewatering etc. complete as per specification, drawing and as directed by the eic. 11 providing, laying and fixing in position cement concrete pipes of internal dia 300mm np-3, conforming to is:458 and laying as per is: 783 (excluding cost of excavation/cutting trench, backfilling the trench with specified material & rcc encasement to be measured & paid separately), placing the pipe in position, jointing pipes, transportation, labour, materials, equipments, all leads and lifts, dewatering etc. complete as per specification, drawing and as directed by the eic. 12 providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam (wbm) specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 10-12 ton vibro roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per clause 404 of mosrt&h specifications for road & bridge works (4th revision). as per opwd-ar-2006, sl no-41, pg-162
