upgrading/strengthening of roads and maintenance of (16 nos) parks at sanjay vihar yojna no. 02, hapur - providing and applying primer coat with bitumen(vg-10)using bitumen pressure distributor on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.75 kg/sqm using mechanical means. 2 providing and laying 50mm thick dense graded bituminous macadam with 100-120 tphhot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tones per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder (vg-30)@ 4.00-4.50% of mix and filler, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required garde, level and alignment and lorred as per clauses 507 to achieve the desired compaction. 3 providing and applying tack coat with bitumen (vg-10) using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.35kg per sqm. on the prepared bituminous granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom 4 providing and laying 25mm thick bituminous concrete with 100-120 tph batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonne per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder (crmb-55) @ 5.40-5.60% of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per mort&h specifications clause 509 complete in all respects. as per irc-37, 2018, cbr-7% and 10 msa. 5 providing & laying hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads &250 gm/sqm area thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per i.r.c.35. the finish surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes, composition of thermoplastic material shall be as per table 800-3 of clause 803 of mort&h including cost of all material, labour, t&p etc. required for proper completion of work as per direction of engineer-in-charge. 6 reflecitive raised pavement markers (cat eye/road stud)supply and fixing of raised pavement marker with made of plastic body of rpm/road stud shall be moulded from asa (acrylic styrene acrylonitrite) or hips (high-imoact polystyrene) or acrylonitrite butadien styrene (abs) or any other suitable material approved by the engineer. thre marker shall support a load of 13,635 kg tested in accordance with astm d4280. the reflective panels shall consist of number of lenses contaning single or dual prismatic cubes capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entring the lens face. lenses shall be mouled of methyl methecrylate conforming to astm d799 of equivalent. the slop or retro-reflecting surface shall preferably be 35+/-5 degree to base and the area of each retro-reflecting surface shall not be less than 13.00 sq.cm. the marker height shall not be less than 10mm and shall not exceed 20mm & amp; width shall not exceed 130mm. the base of the marker shall be flat within 1.3mm all road studs shall be legibly marked with the name, trade or other means of identification of the manufacture. epoxy installations, excess adhesive around the edge of the marker, excess adhesive on the pavement and removed. the contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the engineer. in addition, a two year warranty for satisfactory infield performance of the finished road marker shall also be given by the contractor who carries out the work of fixing of reflective road markers. in case the markers are displaced, damaged, get worn out or lose their reflectivity compared to stipulated standards, the contractor would be the engineer, at his own cost. the rate shall include all materials, labour, t&, p, transportaion, installation and incidentals all complete as per direction of the engineer-in-charge.
