tender for renewal of chirkuwa link road. - providing ,laying ,spreading and compacting stone aggregates of 53-22.4 mm size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness,hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kn in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stonescreening to fill up the nterstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density. 2 providing and applying tack coat with bitumen(vg-10) using bitumen pressure distributer at the rate of 0.30 kg per sqm on the preparedsurface cleaned with hydraulic broom including cost of bitumen. 3 providinglaying & rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6 mm grit either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line ,grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base including mixing in a suitable plant,laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kn static roller capacity finished to required level and grades including cost of bitumen. 4 providing and laying seal coat c type sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall including cost of bitumen. 5 construction of shoulder with approved material obtained from availble land as permitted and approved byengineer-in-charge and as per technical specitaion clause 301.3.4.1,with all liftsand leads,spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of tables 300.1and 300.2 as per technical specification clause 301.5
