special limited tender for manufacturing, supplying and fixing of cell type rubber (suc-1600h) fenders at bd-iii in chennai port => limited; 1 removing the existing damaged cell type rubber suc 1600 htype fenders at bd iii fromthe facia of berth without disturbing the existing bolts/ structures including gas cutting wherever required without damaging the existing wharf structures with all accessories like anchor bolts, nuts, chain etc including making good the disturbed portion if any including handing over the departmental store / rsd yard with in a lead of 5 km including all labour, tools, equipments,plants,cutting,pantoons,fuel,etc,complete. 2 manufacturing ,supplying and fixing the cell type rubber dock fenders of size suc 1600h with rubber grade (re) for berth at bd iii with load deflection characteristics 55% maximum deflection to resist the reaction force energy transferred by the vessals berthed at bd-iii (energy absorption -150 ton-mt approx 1,50,000 dwt) and conforming to manufacture specifications and drawing with all fixtures to suit the existing site condition including required accessories for the fender system includes resin anchor bolts m 48 of sus 316 frontal frame of size with frontal pad.(the frontal pad shall have 30 mm thickuhmw pe synthetic resin and anti-friction and anti-sparking pad) fixed with m 16 bolts of ss -316,weight chain, tension chain, galvanized chain bracket for installing cell type rubber dock fenders to the facia ofexisting wharf (retro fitting) at bd-iiiby drilling holes by core cutting in the rcc facia and fixing the resin anchor bolts rigidly in correct alignment and position by filling / grouting with epoxy resin grout such as hilt re 500 /hilt re 500 v3 or any equivalant material for fixing fender and chain bracket.the tension chain and weight chain connecting thefrontal frame size 3000 x 3000 mm and frontalpad to the facia of wharf including all other fixtures,etc all as per drawing at the given location by suitable means of transport as directed and third party inspection,all labour,tools,equipment,plants,stagining and machineries, transport, fuel,etc.,complete.note: 1.the cost of the third party inspection shall be borne by contractor.2. the size and location of the bolts and nuts will be decided and as directed according to suit site condition.
