tender for development of area between workstation north and carpentry shed at international ship repair facility of cochin shipyard limited; 1 providing and filling with suitable borrow material as per specifications including supply and transportation, placing in position at all levels and creating suitable bunds, leveling the surface at water-logged areas or wherever directed by engineer-in-charge, including supply, lifting, loading, transporting, unloading, breaking of clods, watering, compacting each filled up layer, by flooding/ ramming/ plate compactor or any other mechanical means, including all materials, labour, equipments, other incidental expenses, etc. all complete as directed by engineer-in-charge. (the quoted rate shall be inclusive of royalty if applicable) 2 dismantling / demolition of pcc,rcc, brick masonry, removing paver, etc., by using approved means like chiseling /pneumatic hammer for all lift and lead including clearing and disposal of debris outside isrf premises, stacking useful material at designated location within isrf complex, etc. complete as directed by engineer-in-charge. note: 1. the structures envisaged for demolition includes septic tank, drains, soak pit etc. 2. the paver blocks shall be removed and handed over to csl in good condition for re-use3. all structural steel items shall be handed over to csl isrf scrap yard 3 removal and disposal of accumulated debris, building waste, wooden scrap & garbage, vegetation etc., before the commencement of works including shuttering materials, scrap materials for all lift, all lead and disposal of the same outside the isrf premises including segregating and stacking all steel materials at designated scrap yard within the isrf premisesall complete and as directed by engineer-in-charge.note: this item shall be paid only once before commencement of major works. 4 earth work excavation in all types of hard/dense soil, clay, murum, boulders, soft/disintegrated rock for all depths and lead, including shoring, strutting, dewatering, bund making if required etc.all complete including all machinery, labour, incidental expenses and disposal of unusable excavated earth outside the owners premises as directed by engineer-in-charge. contractor has to carryout earthwork excavation at inter tidal zone also. 5 providing and laying in position plain cement concrete in 1:2:4 nominal mix with 20 mm down graded coarse aggregate as level course including dewatering, ramming, leveling, curing, shuttering, deshuttering etc. including all materials, labour, equipments, incidental expenses etc. all complete as directed by engineer-in-charge. 6 providing and casting in-situ reinforced cement concrete in 1:1.5:3 grade at all levels including providing pvc pipes/conduits , dewatering, shuttering , de-shuttering, compacting with mechanical vibrators, hacking, curing etc. complete including all materials, labour, equipments, incidental expenses etc. all complete as directed by engineer-in-charge. (reinforcement, pvc pipes shall be measured and paid under relevant item.) 7 supplying, cleaning, cutting, bending, supporting, binding with double ply of 22 swg soft annealed wire and placing in position high yield strength deformed tmt reinforcement bars conforming to is:1786 of grade fe 500d,of approved make / brand on / at all levels and locations as per drawings, including handling and transportion complete for all rcc works including supplying & placing concrete cover block etc. complete as directed by engineer-in-charge.note:only authorized laps, spacer bars, chairs embedded in the concrete will be measured for payments. 8 providing & making gabion structure with mechanically woven double twisted hexagonal shaped wire mesh gabion boxes, of required size, mesh type 10x12, zinc+pvc coated, mesh wire diameter2.7/3.7mm, mechanically edged/selvedged with partitions at every 1m interval, filled with boulders with least dimension of 200 mm, including all materials, labour, equipments, incidental expenses etc. all complete as directed by engineer-in-charge. 9 supplying, laying and fixing non-woven geotextile fabric of minimum 120 gsm, needle punched to form a robust permeable and durable membrane behind gabion wall landside area with minimum overlap of 300mm between joints including all materials, labour, other incidental expenses all as per directive of engineer-in-charge.note: overlap shall not be paid extra. 10 supplying, laying and compacting of granular sub-base by providing close graded material conforming to specifications, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness on prepared surface and compacting with suitable roller/mechanical means, all inclusive of materials, labour, machinery, other incidental expenses etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of engineer-in-charge. 11 providing and laying 60 mm thick m30 grade concrete paving blocks of approved colour, size, design & shape, laid in approved pattern over50mm thick compacted bed of coarse material/sand, filling the joints with sand, ramming the laid pavers, levelling to required slope and properly packing, including materials, labour, machinery etc. all complete and as directed by engineer-in-charge.note : concrete kerb if additionally provided shall be seperately paid under pcc item 12 laying interlocking paver blocks of any design/shape supplied by csl to required line,level, curvature & pattern including 50 mm thick compacted bed of sand/coarse material , filling the joints with sand, properly packing,ramming the laid pavers, levelling to required slope etc., including labour, machinery etc. all complete and as directed by engineer-in-charge.note : this item shall apply on issuance of interlock paver tiles to contractor free of cost by csl, concrete kerb if additionally provided shall be seperately paid under pcc item 13 fabrication, supply and fixing of frp members as handrails, chequered plates of specified dimensions fabricated using frp hollow tubes, flats, angles, channels, plates etc.,with polyester resin uv stabilized frp including materials, labour, machineries, tools, necessary fasteners, aligning, drilling, anchoring with mechanical anchor bolts, etc.all complete and as directed by engineer-in-charge. 14 providing and fixing poly vinyl chloride pipes of below mentioned diameters and 6kg/cm2 pressure rating for drainage and sewerage purpose, laying to required gradientswherever necessary, with necessary fittings such as bends, tees, reducers, clamps etc., including dewatering, threading, cutting of pipes, carving, trenching and refilling etc. including all materials, labour, installation charges, incidental expenses etc. all complete as directed by engineer-in-charge. 15 20mm 16 110mm 17 providing, installing and commissioning polyethylene modular septic tank (united septic tanks type v make or equivalent) 1600mm dia with covers, for 100 flushings per day, including excavation, dewatering, backfilling, shoring, making connections to inlet, outlets etc including all materials, labour, installation charges, incidental expenses etc. all complete as directed by engineer-in-charge.(excavation & backfilling shall be paid separately under relevant item) 18 providing circular readymade rcc soak pit minimum 1.0 m dia. and minimum 1.8 m deep, and mininimum 50mm thick with 50mm top cover and sufficient openings for water soaking, including excavation, dewatering, shoring, filling inside the soak pit and providing 300mm thick filter media all around the soak pit to a depth of 1.2m with 40mm aggregate, making connections to inlet including all materials, labour, installation charges, incidental expenses etc. all complete as directed by engineer-in-charge. (excavation will be paid separately under relevant items) 19 providing and fixing g.i pipes of min dia. 80 mm, laying to required gradientswherever necessary, with necessary fittings and fixtures, including all materials, labour, dewatering, trenching, backfilling, cutting of pipes, incidental expenses etc. all complete as directed by engineer-in-charge. 20 providing and laying 200/150 mm thick cement concrete block masonry using blocks in sub-structure and superstructure at all levels, in cement mortar 1:5 using approved quality blocks including raking of joints, curing etc including all materials, labour, installation charges, incidental expenses etc. all complete as directed by engineer-in-charge.
